Easy to assemble with one person. Adding this as there was someone who said parts don’t fit. I thought the same thing but then figured out that I didn’t align parts 1 and 2 correctly with, then part no 5 till screws will not align. This happened to me so I just needed to correct which took 2 mins to make the adjustments. Bed is very sturdy and well made. Would recommend for college student or guest bedroom.

Very nice, like the bamboo frame - but problem, bed slips right off of it. Just something as simple as sitting on the bed pushes it. If they had it sit just a little inside the frame this would be perfect.

Not the best quality, e.g., what's not evident is that the bed is not 100% wood, the slats are metal. The fit of the various components / pieces is decent. For a college student it's decent quality for the price.

I was expecting to have some major difficulties with this frame after reading all the other reviews. As stated by many others, there is a whole lot more metal than there is bamboo. The twin size doesn’t have the wood looking center legs and I believe that is where a majority of other installations had trouble. In my case, the center had a plate numbered 11 and it was impossible to accidently put the boards wrong as you can see in a picture where I tried. And you can see the notch for the slats are far away from center when positioned correctly and way too close when done wrong. Twin uses rectangle metal bars to support the center. The slight gap between the boards may be off-putting to some. Nothing a bed skirt can’t hide! Having assembled many of these created to ship products, I believe I am more understanding of how these things work and am able to avoid some of the troubles others have. I agree that the hex wrench they include is maddening, so I use a screwdriver with hex bit instead. Hand tighten and then use the included wrench to give probably 20lbs of torque to secure the bolts. As with almost ALL products using these bolts… They should be tightened again in a few months. I’ve seen bolts fall out of chairs because they are worked loose during use. So when you hear the frame make noise, it’s time to get the hex wrench out and tighten them up. DO NOT USE A DRILL unless you have a clutch and know how to use it. Over-torque can crack the wood. Not keeping the bolts tighten can cause damage. So to sum it up, this frame requires a little maintenance to avoid damage. The measurements are not precise. I got the 18” frame but you can say it is 14” because from floor to top of bed frame, it’s half an inch shy if 18. From the floor to the bottom of the frame it is only 14 inches and that is what most people will be interested in. If you have 17” storage bins and want to slide them under this bed, you will be really upset! Top to bottom is half an inch shy of 75” and I have no clue how they came up with 39” wide when it’s only 37.5”. If the mattress you get is true to size and is 39”, it will cover the frame nicely. So my only real gripe about this frame is the unexpected center legs not being the nice wooden bamboo as shown, the measurements not being accurate, and the maintenance needed to keep it functioning like new. That’s enough to knock a star off, but everything else with the twin version has been better than expected.
