First off the filament arrived dry and ready to print. Very minimal stringing even on small delicate prints. I am printing on an A1-Mini Halfway through the roll with no tangles so far. Extremely easy to print, always sticks to a clean print bed.

Feb 2025 update on another purchase. This ZIRO Diamond series filament is nothing less than amazing! I just purchased 3 more spools and am excited to try my 2 new colors. ** The extra little touches - first of all, the filament is well packed, see my photo. Obviously, the plastic spool is nice because it fits just about every printer. Besides, we can use our recycle bins, but the local counties/states only recycle 5-15% of what we sort (sad). Also, ZIRO adds a random sample of one of their filaments and a reasonably long piece of the nozzle cleaning filament, that’s amazing in itself!! One more thing, they include a resealable, light blocking bag to store your filament. If the coolness and quality of their filament wasn’t enough, they know how to treat their customers; I hope they stick around! I think this may be my first ZIRO brand purchase, but won’t be my last; WOW, even better than expected, in all ways!! Adhesion is perfect, if that exists, but I do use mouse ear brims on corners to be sure. I can’t say enough about the color and glitter, although I’m not sure I like the “glitter” term as it sounds a bit much. There is a bit of sparkle, but it isn’t overly the top. I often find myself replacing using this red over regular red because it’s so nice, even though it’s more of a brick red. I print on Ender 3 Neo and Bambu X1C @ 220°/55° and have not had issues at all, totally satisfied with this filament.

My feelings are somewhat mixed on this filament. I have been working with 3D models and printing for 10 years plus and I've come to learn that almost all filaments have their quirks. This particular filament has more than its fair share of quirks. Like others, I found that this prints best at the maximum hot end temp rating (220c), but the downside to that is that you can end up with unwanted blobs. Turning the heat down less than 210c will almost invariably get you a clogged nozzle. The best I can say is this will try your patience, but if you get everything dialed in right, it will give you a nice print, maybe not the best, but more than good enough for an untrained eye.

First off let me start by saying I very rarely give a negative rating on an item. I don’t enjoy doing it and I would rather just not do a review at all but in this case I feel this is important enough to review in order to help others that are passionate like I am at 3D printing. I have been 3D printing for many years now and I own 3 printers and In my humble opinion this is to date, the worst filament I’ve ever had the displeasure of using! (Or rather, trying to use!) It has clogged my hotend time and time again causing me hours of down time and frustration having me to break down my hotend and nozzle to clear out jams! Also please note that I have used MANY types of filaments and this is the ONLY filament to date that has caused me so much trouble!! I’m a stubborn person, and not wanting to give up easily, I’ve tried countless settings and nozzle sizes/types and each time after a few minutes of printing a clog will surely occur! And yes, I even sought assistance thru the usual sources to see if they can offer any help on what I may possibly be doing wrong to no avail. So in the end I sad to admit that the manufacturer won and I finally had to throw in the towel. I had to stop wasting my time and move on. I have better things to do with my life than just unclogging my hotends and nozzles! The only conclusion I can come up with is that the glitter they use is inconsistent in its size. So consider yourself lucky that you read this first before spending your hard earned money and that you were warned to stay away from this filament at all costs in order to save yourself countless hours of frustration and down time! So, run away as fast as you can from this item. You’re welcome! Lol!

Bought the red twinkle to print some Valentine's Day dinosaurs for my daughter's kindergarten class and so far I'm in love! First time using glitter so I wasn't totally sure how it would go. Had to raise my temps 10° (210/70) from my normal and it printed perfectly on the second try! So far, no issues with the filament itself. Also loved that the spool has marks so you know how much you have left! Print seems to be pretty consistent throughout with the glitter color, being that it's translucent I wasn't sure how well it would come out. But I love it! Highly recommend!!

I had another ZIRO dark green filament a while back that printed fine but I didn't think the green really matched the pictures posted in the listing for it so I have kind of steered away from ZIRO filaments for a while. It wasn't a conscious decision, but a "meh" experience with a filament can cause that. I saw this filament like a 1/2 a year ago and liked the looks of it, but I held off until it went on sale just in case it was another "meh experience" as I don't normally return filament unless there is something majorly wrong with it. I was hopeful when I got the roll in person that it printed as well as it looked, and thankfully that proved to be the case. A friend who said she wanted a red USB cable winder, so I made her two - one out of this filament and one out of another red filament I really like. I slowed down all the line types to 50mm/s because I have found that is necessary with most "translucent" filaments I have used in the past. All I can say is WOW! This stuff printed really well and came out looking amazing. I plan to print a bunch of roses out of it soon and am actively looking for models to print with it so I can show off how awesome it is. ZIRO, you knocked it out of the park with this one!
