I purchased the Queen size frame in grey. This bed frame was easy to assemble and the package comes with all the tools necessary to use. I love the zipper compartment behind the headboard, I was so mind blown by that! I do believe this is very good quality. After assembling, the frame didn't wiggle or squeak and the slotted boards are sturdy as well and fit very snug, which is a good thing. The side rails and slotted boards have velcro so there isn't any moving around . It's pretty light to move around (of course without the mattress) so it allowed me to position it where it was best. The material covering the headboard, footboard, and side rails is in excellent shape, I did not see any threading pulled out or damage. It looks very neat and the grey is a beautiful dark color. I have a one bedroom apartment with the bedroom being a small size, so the queen fit perfectly and still has enough room to go around. It doesn't sit too low from the ground, the gap is about 6-7 inches under the bed. In total, from the floor to the top portion of footboard, it's around 13 inches (more/less). I placed a 3FT bar stool by the footboard for context in size. After the mattress goes on top, it will probably be at barstool level. (I ordered the Zinus 12 inch gel/foam mattress). The zinus bed frame is great. Simple assembly and super sturdy. Took me about half an hour to an hour to build alone. Putting on the last rail was a little tricky, but manageable after a few attempts. Also simple quiet. I’m gonna have to try one of their mattresses next time in I’m the market for one. ... show more

This is my second Zinus bed frame purchase. I purchased this bed after noticing all of the positive reviews. Shipping was quick (the website stated it may take three-five days to receive it) I received it in two. UPS had a difficult time lugging this huge box into my apartment building and I had a hell of a time getting it up 5 flights of stairs. On the other hand, the bed is nice, sturdy, and the wooden planks are held in place by the Velcro straps. The bed is quiet and it can hold some weight. My partner is 6'7 250 and I'm 5'6 159 and it holds up . Assembly was simple due to the instructions (read the whole page of instructions before you start). Not a lot of under bed space and my headboard arrived with a few stitches missing from the seam. Overall, pleased with the look, feel, and quality. I moved my bed into a small space so you can get an idea of the size. I have a full size XL mattress set (my bed sits high due to the box spring- you do not need a box spring with this bed frame). Unfortunately, when we opened the box we found immediately that one of the legs was broken. We called Amazon, they gave us a number to call ZINUS, we explained the issue and requested just one leg to replace the broken one, but they said they weren't responsible because the bed was purchased through Amazon. This doesn't make sense to me. We contacted Amazon again, and they are going to replace the whole bed at no cost to us. We are expecting them to pick up the bed today and deliver a new one in a few days. I don't think the leg was broken during shipping, it looks it was broken during manufacturing and they shouldn't have sent it. They need a better quaility control. Update: We finally had our bed replaced, and this time everything was fine. Assembling was very easy, every piece of the bed was inside the zipper compartiment on the back of the headboard. The bed is firm and looks great. I want to thank Amazon for their quick support! I attached a pic of the bed and changed my rating to 5 stars. ... show more
