I had to get a new bed platform w/headboard due to the drawers and no headboard blocking moisture and causing mold in my bedroom. I hated to get rid of it because it was solid wood and extremely solid but was left with no choice for my health sake. I saw this one with the four posters and attached headboard and thought of all of the creative things I could hang/do, so I read the reviews and was pleasantly surprised to find it had 5 stars and virtually everyone was thrilled with it. When the bed arrived, I was upset to find box looked like it had been through WWIII with both ends ripped open and various large holes ripped throughout the body of the box, I was not called to tell me box was coming, nor was I able to inspect it prior to it being left leaning over my apt door where someone could potentially be crushed by it. It weighs 90+ lbs and I am disabled Widow, but since I have a kid at home, both of us were able to barely slowly lift it and drag it into the house where it had to sit in my hallway for a few days before I could pay someone to come out and put this together. Fortunately, it was well wrapped and cushioned so nothing was damaged or scratched and parts were all there, but it took an hour and a half to put together between the hired help and the kid. And it definitely requires 2 people to put this together, one to assemble the parts and one to hold. I was initially nervous that this bed would not hold my weight, as I am a plus sized lady of about 240 lbs. but it is one sturdy piece of furniture and I love it!! It's like having a cozy adult fort or a swanky little tent in your bedroom or like something you would expect in a BNB, it's so worth it, and a great price! It was a bit of a headache to put together, so here's a helpful tip: gather all of the pieces first and make sure they are all there by group, matching them to the letters on the instructions, and then connect the frame pieces first after you have determined which ones they are according to the diagram, because the instructions go by number, but the parts go by letter. The pieces have number stickers on them, but the instructions are not so clear to understand. The pieces with the tape on them are for the mattress support so it will not slide off the frame. After all was said and done, this is a very sturdy bed, and it looks great with the sheer scarves and lights I purchased to hang on it. Bed aware that the bed is long, so if you live in an apt like I do, you may want to check the measurements beforehand, because I have a long bedroom so the bed would only go one way in the room, making the clearance to close the bedroom door just a few inches, lol. Other than that, I highly recommend this nice frame/headboard and canopy set. You'll be thrilled. Nice wrought iron steel, and good 4 square poster supports, and frame supports. Sturdy bolts and re-usable tools all included. Great for yourself, a kids or guest room, lends a nice simple, or stately touch. You will not be disappointed with the quality and stability.

easy and quick to put together, even though the instruction manual doesn't have written instructions just pictures. so there was one confusing step towards the end but we figured it out. sturdy and looks great. we do have one of the bars that came a little dented but not too noticeable

Wow, this bed frame has really exceeded my expectations. It was really easy to assemble (though it’s definitely a two person job). It looks really nice and has held up pretty well! I’ve never had a canopy frame before and had my doubts on if I’d like it, but it actually looks super nice in my bedroom and really achieved the look I was going for. There are not a lot of gold bed frames on the market, and this one is definitely probably the best! My only complaints that the slats that support the mattress are sticky (so your mattress won’t slide) and that makes it difficult to tuck your sheets under when making the bed. Additionally, because it is slatted, the sheets fall down under the bed and unless you have a really long bedspread, you will be able to see the sheets. I fixed that problem when I could afford a new comforter but for months it didn’t look very nice until I could make the change. But honestly this is a great frame, just make sure you’ve got a nice, long comforter! (I’ve added photos from before and after I replaced the comforter so you can see the problem with the sheets.)

The bed wasnt bad at all! I had it for about 2-3 years before i switched it out. Wasnt particularly too squeaky at all. The only reason i stopped using it is well, i didnt really measure my bedroom when purchasing. It was more or an eye sore in my 10x10 room. I did end up hanging lights on it which definitely made it more appealing, atleast for my room. Had my room been a bit bigger it would have definitely looked better. I had no issues with any slates or anything breaking at all. I did take it apart a few times in those 2-3 years to put my other bedframes in (i was horrible with buying 2-3 cheap bedframes so i could switch my room up 😂) and everything was perfect. No bolts stripped, still was sturdy. It was a little annoying to build on my own as there are a good amount of pieces but if i had help it definitely would have been easier. Instructions were also pretty straightforward

The media could not be loaded. The trifling, lazy, SORRY fool that “delivered” the bed needs to be slapped. I NEVER got an email that said it had been delivered. NEVER got a text about a delivery either. Finally after the sun set, I looked on the porch, nothing. I just happened to step past my porch around midnight for an unrelated reason. The bed (box) was laid out in my yard. That sorry SOB didn’t bother to ring the doorbell to ask for help either. Just left it there. No wonder there wasn’t a notification, they knew they were wrong. And they took a picture of the “delivery” as if it was acceptable. The sun was up when they LEFT it in the yard (to the right of the porch, not in my view). Anyway. The bed was easy for my 19 year old to assemble in about an hour. I can fit my carry-on luggage underneath and all of my CD/DVD books (keep ya physical media y’all).
