Perfect for small apartments
I’ve never written an amazon review, but this one deserves it. I have an upstairs apartment in an old historic home with a small, awkward stair case. I spent MONTHS trying to find a couch that 1) fit up the stairs, 2) looked nice and 3) was comfortable. THIS ONE IS PERFECT!! It came in pieces that were incredibly easy to put together (and not that heavy, which is a bonus for carrying up those stairs). It’s not very squishy, which is how I typically like my couches, but still works great. And hey, I’m not going to complain considering it’s the only couch that wasn’t a futon that would fit in my tiny apartment. I also have an Australian shepherd that sheds horrifically. While her fur does stick to the couch a bit, it’s super easy to clean. I just go over with a vacuum or even just a lint roller. Now, this couch is not perfect. It’s is very short both in width of the seat and height of the back. I can, however, stretch out on it to take a nap. (i’m 5’4, and can FULLY stretch out on it) I’m giving this a five star review for the durability, the price, and the ease of it. It came in about a week in a big box, so shipping was fast too! The red is a beautiful color too!! All three of my dogs constantly jump on and off of it, i’ve had it for about 4 months now and not a single tear or rip. If it can hold up to my rambunctious crew, it can for you too. For those of you with small apartments (like me. seriously. I have about an 800 square foot apartment, if that) and/or awkward stairs. This couch is your answer. ... show more

Excellent in EVERY way!
Color: Ruby Red Weave Size: Loveseat
First of all, the delivery. I saw the truck pull up. Messages from Amazon alerting me that the driver was there. Pretty awesome. The drivers were very friendly and very careful with the package. Later on, I saw the photo they posted of the box in front of the door, etc. The box, sturdy and very excellent shape. The inside wrapping, excellent. The shipping part: excellent. Now, the product...I cannot believe how fantastic this couch is. Very very well made. I think its very comfortable...opposite of some of the reviews here. It is FIRM. Like the bed that I also purchased from Zinus. I really love their products. I bought the couch in red and its exactly how it is described. The EASIEST set up of a couch EVER. NO TOOLS! DO YOU HEAR THIS??? NO TOOLS!!! So, you put this together and its solid!!!! This is truly unbelievable isn't it? I don't have time to build stuff! I cannot afford to buy a couch from the big department stores...this love seat is affordable, well made and sturdy. I give this a big thumbs up. Buy with confidence! ... show more

Exactly What I Was Looking For - A Great Living Room Sofa
I was looking for a stylish-but-economical red sofa for my living room, and this one ticked all the boxes. It was ridiculously easy to assemble, seems reasonably durable, and looks fantastic in the space. It's a great guests-coming-over sofa, comfortable enough to sit on during a visit or party, but definitely not something you would want to spend extended sloth-time or sleepy-time on, as it's neither big nor cushy enough for that, IMO. The color is very nice - a deep, rich red - not orange-y or purple-y like so much moderately-priced red furniture. The linen-like woven fabric seems pretty tough, but I Scotchgarded it anyway. Time will tell if it pulls, pills or wears. For now - and for the price - I really couldn't have asked for more. I love it! ... show more

Over all, it’s worth the price.

You definitely get what you pay for, so don’t expect top tier high quality, but I’m pretty impressed for a cheap sofa. The color is very appealing, the material is more durable than I expected it to be, the construction is fair and SUPER easy to assemble. The back is a little too straight, as I feel it could recline a little more for ultimate comfort. The cushions are very stiff, but I genuinely think they’ll wear down and get a lot comfier in time. Over all, this sofa has a lot of potential. The arms aren’t as hard as I thought they would be, and you could easily lay your head on them and fall asleep. Excellent choice for semi-temporary apartment living because, yeah, she’s a fashionable, decent quality sofa, but she’s also disposable when it comes time to decide if it’s going in the moving van or not. Super easy to disassemble too, if you decide she’s coming along. 10/10 would recommend. ... show more

Hard to sit on..
The couch is easy to assemble, but it is hard, I can feel lumps in it and due to my illness I was unable to return the couch in time. I have to offer my guess blankets to pad the couch IN order to sit for a while EMBARRASSED

Nice, sturdy love seat

This love seat was very easy to put together... I did it by myself in less than 10 minutes once I had all the pieces out in front of me. It seems very sturdy, but only time will tell for sure. I can say that my husband and I (both 5’9” and 200+lbs each) sat on it together, and it held up well, and was comfortable. The seat and back cushions are perfect... not too stiff, not too squishy. The seat and arm rests are at comfortable heights. The seats depth is good too. The color is as advertised- ruby red- However, the color looks a bit darker in my room when looking at it. The photos make it look brighter than it looks to my naked eye. The fabric seems like it will hold up well. It arrived via UPS one day later than expected due to excessive rain in my area. I wasn’t mad about that. Overall, I am really happy with this purchase! It seems to be a great quality for the price, so far (only 1 day)! ... show more
