I got these to use for my aeroponic setup. I haven’t used them for that yet but I did put some lotus seedlings in them and that is working very well. The seedlings have grown great since putting them in these pots while waiting to be planted.

    • Perfect fit.
They fit perfect with the 2" hooked I drilled in my DIY cloner I made I was worried because some said they fall thru. Well I can tell you there's no way they will. At least not the ones I got. Maybe they are using bad hole saws. These have a tiny rib below the lip that you can use to sit the cups up higher, or firmly push them into the hole and they actually LOCKED in. Rather than just sit there, I liked that. I cut the bottoms off cause I plan to replant them later in a DWC system I made. They are very thin and flexible. The neoprene collars in the photos I got here in amazon and fit snug and do not fall thru even tho I cut the bottom off the net pots. ... show more

They worked perfectly for what I was doing. I created a homemade aeroponic garden out of 25 gallon totes and 2 inch rock wool cubes. The cubes were easily shaped to fit inside these baskets. See photo.

    • Lip is too small
I went with this cheaper brand not knowing they don't really have much of a lip to them. I drill two inch holes and they fell right through. Make sure you drill a little smaller hole so it will hold the basket.

    • net pots too small for 2" use
Net pots dont have a wide enough lip. These fall thru 2" hydro holes. Sure, you can rig it. But anything you do seems to permit light thru. It's not worth the hassle.

They're okay for the money but was expecting a sturdier net. they've held up so far but I'm not using very many yet. My old ones of a different brand are thicker.
