I was happy with my Queen sized mattress but after a long tenure it was giving my wife problems sleeping. So we did the mattress shopping thing. She always wanted to upgrade to King size and I finally gave in (Happy wife, happy life, guys!) Of course I had already thought this all the way through and knew that it also meant all new bedding and possibly a new frame if the current one did not adjust to King size. Lo and behold, when the mattress was delivered we discovered that the frame did not adjust any larger than Queen size. I quickly got on Amazon and picked out this frame and paid the nominal extra amount to guarantee next day delivery. The box was nice and compact when it arrived. While I am not as much of a visual person (I prefer instructions with words that walk me through the steps) I was able to follow the pictures easy enough after I got all of pieces oriented correctly. It took less than an hour to put together and the mattress and box spring fit perfectly. NOTE: Make sure you box spring(s) are completely inside the bracket or you could ruin them. Haven't attached a headboard yet (yet another new purchase that will need to be made) but we do like the sturdiness of the frame. Gives the bed a good height as well. Everything you need to put the frame together is included in the box! This is a GOOD DEAL!

Absolutely the easiest bed frame I've ever assembled. Comes a lot smaller box than I expected (3'4" tall and about 8" wide) so no struggling with a tall/lanky or squat/wide box. Everything you need to assemble is in the box--comes in three pieces: the main "center" frame with the headboard brackets and two "endcaps" which are basically the front and rear of the frame. The legs fold down and are locked into place with bolts. Very easy to adjust to twin, queen, or full - just slide the "endcaps" farther from one another (think of spreading your arms when telling someone "this big a fish!") and lock with bolts. Mine came with a few extra parts, an Allen key, but the huge winner is their little ratchet wrench--pretty damn slick and worked easy-peasy. As others have mentioned, you don't really need the directions if you lay it out beforehand. I used them just until it came to the "endcaps" and then common sense and logic takes over. Trust me, if I can build this thing, I think anyone could. Quite sturdy--holds my bottom board (basically just 1"x2" boards with cheap cardboard over them and two mattresses. My box spring bit the dust years ago so the sturdier second mattress ended up taking over that role. Everything still works fine, much more comfortable than having everything on the ground. Can't say enough good things about this frame. Also a bonus that it can expand if I want to change mattresses to a larger size in the future. I gave it three stars for storage because I do store spare blankets, pillowcases, sheets, and the like under the bed. Winter comforters and blankets during spring/fall, and lighter sheets and blankets in the fall/winter. So it doesn't really have "storage" in the traditional sense of drawers or anything but will accommodate about 5 or 6" of clearance from the floor. Highly recommend!!

Pretty happy with this bed frame. After doing so much research and trying to find a bed frame to support our new boxspring and mattress we decided to buy this one. Building it was super easy, it took us less than 30 min to finish and a single person could do it alone. The end result was a sturdy bed that didn’t move or make any noises. Only time will tell about its durability, the only thing that I am concerned about is the fact that the middle support is not centered but towards one side, we think this is due to setting it up as a queen since it can be setup to different sizes. I am worried that this could cause some issues with support but only time will tell.

I got this on an Amazon day sale, and since i love the metal box spring i got from Zinus, i decided to try this 7" frame from Zinus as well. Is quality top notch? No, but the value is definitely there. The metal box spring was so easy to put together and take apart, and this 7" frame is no different! 6 total screws is all you need to deal with, literally takes 5 minutes! I will say the little headboard screws with the butterfly nuts seemed stripped but i dont really need them, and the frame is slightly, and i mean slightly warped, which if i had to guess is probably due to being stored under several other boxes of bed frames. I have no squeaking at all so far either. What really made me happy is that on top of the alan/hex wrench provided, Zinus throws in a ratchet style hex wrench as well AND some non slip pads to put on the frame to keep your box spring from sliding around!! All in all I am very happy with the purchase, if you can get this frame for around $35 id say its an amazing deal.

We chose the frame that requires a box spring and found it very easy to assemble. Glanced through the instructions and probably spent all of 10 minutes putting it together. The included mini ratchet made it very easy. Our box spring was a perfect fit and is securely held in place by the angle iron style frame. The angle iron style frame (in addition to capturing the box spring) also has the benefit of giving you almost that full 7 inches of underneath clearance for a 7 inch height. With a tube steel style frame your box spring can float/slip and for a 7 inch lift frame you likely get 1" less of under storage space due to the thickness of the tube steel frame. We chose a 7 inch high as that seemed like it would fit our 6 inch bins as under storage while not raising our box spring & mattress too high. Since this was placed on a carpet with padding, it did sink in some and the 6" high bins ended up being a very tight fit since they don't sink into the carpet. We added floor protectors to all the uprights (the kind that usually go on dining room chair legs) and then we put a rubber (couch/table style) rubber floor protector under each upright. 6" high bins now have plenty of clearance to slide underneath the 7" high frame.

If you are in need of a stable bed frame that is affordable and can handle not only some serious weight but also different size mattresses, then look no further! I am currently sleeping on a full size bed and it had am old style weak frame that eventually one of its legs bent irrepairably. So I found this one and figured for the price I'd give it a shot. Now Ive lost weight but when I bought this, I was definitely around 400lbs so finding a frame to hold the box, mattress, and my weight had to work. This frame is very sturdy when easily assembled and has a center support which greatly helps. It had had no issues with my weight back then and definitely doesn't now either. It comes with a tool and all the necessary hardware to set up as well. I just can't recommend this bed frame enough and eventually Ill be moving up to a queen which I'll be able to use the same frame!

Very pleased with this frame. I got this Zinus twin size bed fame for my boyfriends son's bed, he had a mattress and box spring but nothing for underneath and it is perfect! The box that it comes in is pretty compact and will easily fit into my small car so it can be transported easily. When you take the pieces of the metal frame out of the box there are essentially 4 main pieces that open up. It comes with all the hardware and even came with two hex tools, one really nice one as well! There are only 8 bolts that you need to put on I believe, and I was a bit confused at first but all I needed to do was turn the end piece around and then it all made sense. It was super easy to do and even the 11 year old could do it himself. It did come with a full set of instructions, but you almost don't even need them it was so simple. It took about 10 minutes more or less and we were able to put the mattress and box spring on and be done! It does come with some end pieces that I believe are to attach a headboard but we didn't have a headboard so I just puthose to the wall so as not to accidentally kick it or anything. Sturdy, easy to put together, and the price is great!
