it functions and seems great except the quarter size hole in the cover. Box that it can in did look beat up and has a sticker that said "defect". I think it's fine and I don't mind it, but I wish they gave me a discount because I did paid full price for a new box spring. you can tell that someone returned it at one point.

Super easy to put together, even with an 18 month old getting in the way. Every corner is labeled with numbers that correspond with the instructions, making it a breeze to setup. Well thought out design; the Velcro keeps the slats in place (and likely minimizes noise from moving slats, which happens on another type of bed frame we have). We bought two twin foundations; one of the 8 screw holes on one of the frames was slightly larger diameter than the screws, so the screw just spins in the hole. The kit comes with extra screws, so I tried several to see if it was the screw. I kept the screw in the hole to act as a bolt, and may later use something to keep it in place more securely. Manufacturing tolerances aren't perfect, but for the price I can't complain. The frame itself is sturdy metal. The slats are thin and flexible, so time will tell how durable the slats are, especially with a toddler bound to jump on the bed. I recommend NOT standing on the base alone because the slats are likely to break. But overall pleased with this purchase so far, as it works well for our needs. We needed an easy-to-put-together, low profile foundation for an 11" thick mattress for our toddler, so that her bed wouldn't be too high off the floor.

This is the SECOND low profile we bought! We love them, VERY easy to put together and sturdy. We bought one last year and upgraded a bedroom set and needed another one another one of our kids. Very pleased with this product!! Sleek design, strong metal, easy to piece together, maybe 10 minutes or less! Very nice.

Easy to assemble. Very sturdy. User it under 8" mattress on trundle bed to make the mattress more firm. My 26 year old son sleeps on it, and says it is very comfortable.

The directions on how to put the box springs together were very straightforward and easy to understand. A couple of parts on the metal frame were slightly bent/distorted, so I had a tough time trying to get the metal frame part put together, but after I managed to do that, it was easy peasy from there. I put this together completely by myself while my husband was working, so if you're someone who likes to do things on your own or if you're someone who doesn't have any help, don't let that stop you from getting this. If I can get this put together by myself, almost anyone can. :) These box springs are the perfect height for my 3 year olds new twin bed. We paired it with an 8" mattress, so it's not too high, but still looks like a normal bed.

Bought a bed for my daughter. It was one of those beds where the mattress lays right on the slats. Honestly, the slats were not the strongest, but more so it just made the top of the bed too low. So, we bought this little 4" box spring to raise everything just a bit. First of all, this this is solid. It can handle my fat a$$ on the bed with no problem. Makes cheapy wooden slats on the bed not do any work. It was easy to put together and the price was great. Would highly recommend.
