It is extremely comfortable. After a little bit of digging around about memory foam mattresses, I decided on this one. It has great support and is helping realign my spine back into the proper shape. At first I wasn't sure considering I was having harsh back pain in the morning when I woke up, but was told that it takes around two months to get used to a new bed and for your spine to realign. I'm happy to say that it's been a month and my back pain has been reduced each day I've used it. My lower back is hurting a lot less than it used to with my old spring mattress. Originally I thought that the mattress wouldn't give me enough support since it was a foam mattress, but it has just the right amount of firmness for myself. Finding this nice and plush of a bed at this price was a great deal. I will admit, if you plan to be intimate, it has less bounce than a spring mattress, but overall isn't that horrible for that situation. Additionally, I recommend getting memory foam pillows as well. It came packaged in quite a heavy box, vacuum sealed as well. I went over it after I released it from the packaging and there was no dirt or stains on it either, quite clean actually. There was a bit of a smell when I opened it, but it went away after a few days, it's not lingering on the mattress or in the room. I highly recommend this mattress if you're having lower back pain and I definitely recommend using it for two months before you change your mind. I love these beds. Have bought 2 more since getting this one. They fit nicely in the bed. Very comfortable and feel so soft. The thickness is perfect.

After a horrible debacle with a Mattress Firm, this was the most welcomed relief. I no longer sink into a hole in the middle. This so firm, yet soft enough to sleep on. I returned a foam mattress topper because it did not work well, the mattress was perfect on it's own! I'm still getting used to it (body wise) and my neck still feels great when I wake up. So far it seems durable and as though it will keep it's shape. I have queen bedding (this is a full size) and it fits just fine. Very impressed with how it looked and how fast it was ready to use. Update 9/8/24. The mattress does get more comfortable with time and really helps adjust a bad back. I am noticing that the foam IS heating me up at night. I like to sleep cool and I have a very light comforter, I also have two mattress protectors underneath the sheet. I ordered a cooling mattress topper and that will probably solve the issue. I would recommend a cooling mattress protector with this product if you are not a fan of waking up in an oven. (I know Zinus says it has a cooling layer of foam built it, not sure if it is enough). [UPDATE 7/19/21] After two years and ten months, I finally replaced this Zinus mattress. I did buy a 2-inch memory foam topper to mitigate the sagging, but ultimately it was still not enough to achieve the comfortable sleep I had when I first slept on this mattress. But overall, this was a decent value given its life of 34 months as the mattress I slept on every night. I purchased the Zinus 10-inch green tea mattress over two years ago, intrigued by both the price and the number of positive reviews. It’s certainly firm for my preferences, and works for my body type at 5’11 and about 180 lbs. I did not experience any chemical smell that others have reported, neither when I first opened it from the box or even now. I immediately loved the comfort level and support for side sleepers. The temperature control is adequate enough. It’s not the perfect mattress for cooling by any means, but the heating only becomes apparent during the hottest summer days. But after two years of constant, daily use, I finally came across my first problem, which is a common problem that many memory foam mattresses suffer after a certain period. The middle of the mattress is starting to soften a little too much in comparison to the rest of the area. You wouldn’t be able to tell from the pictures, but you essentially sink slightly deeper in the middle as opposed to the edges The minor sagging is unfortunate, as I had routinely rotated the mattress routinely throughout these two years to avoid this exact problem. I plan to buy a mattress topper to not only counteract the sagging, but try and prevent further sagging in the future. Otherwise, the overall comfort level is relatively the same as it was two years ago. For those on a strict budget like I was, this is an excellent through and through. You should certainly do your research for other models and brands, if you have more money to spend. But overall from my own experience this will give you, at least, two years of comfortable sleep! ... show more

    • Best sleep Ive had in a year
Im a hairstylist on my feet all day long. Ive been sleeping on a crappy floor mattress for about a year and Ive had back problems since. Everymorning I wake up I feel like I was hit with a baseball bat. I recieved this last night (2/18/21). Delivery was speedy. The package was handled properly and when I opened the box the mattress was neatly compressed and rolled inside. No concerning smells or stains. Its foam vaccuum sealed in plastic so it did have a slight plastic smell which is to be expected and went away after a couple hours. I unwrapped it and it inflated to its full 10" depth in about 1.5 hours. I can say without any hesitation its the best nights sleep Ive had in a year. Im 6ft 280lbs and this mattress was soft yet firm. I felt supported but I didnt feel like I sank into it. The foam is very soft and firm where it needs to be and every which way I slept I was comfortable. With my old bed I would sometimes wake up with a sore shoulder or my arm numb because I slept on it all night but not with this mattress. I actually feel revitalized from a good nights sleep. Im very satisfied with this mattress and will definitely consider buying from this company again when its time for a replacement. ... show more

After sleeping on the couch for a few months while pregnant, I knew I needed to replace my mattress. I like soft mattresses and my husband likes firm. After shopping around a bit, I decided to give this a try. I was about 5 months pregnant when I bought it and was just hoping it would help my back pain. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Even though my husband and I don't agree on mattress firmness, we both are extremely comfortable on this. It is firm enough to keep him happy and keep my back from hurting while still being soft enough for me to find comfortable. We've had this for about 10 months now and still both say, "ahhhh" when getting into it at night! I was so worried about buying a mattress without trying it first but this was definitely a good purchase, even if you disregard the amazing price. There was very little smell out of the box and was not noticeable by the second night we had it, which was the first night we slept on it. If you are considering this mattress, get it. You will never find a more comfortable mattress for this good of a price. We bought the Zinus Modern Studio 14 Inch Platform 1500 Metal Bed Frame for it and it fits perfectly and doesn't need a box spring. The added space under the frame is great for some storage. My ONLY complaint is that I got the 10" and sometimes the sheets don't stay on very well. We had to buy sheets specifically for thicker mattresses. ... show more

I got this mattress in a full size for my college apartment. All I have is good things to say regarding this mattress. First of all, the price is amazing! Secondly, the mattress came in a box so moving it from home to my college apartment was so easy. The mattress takes about 48 hours to fully expand after coming out of the box which was not a problem at all. I did not notice a chemical smell. The mattress may seem a bit hard for the first couple of nights if you are not used to memory foam, but after a week my body adjusted and it is so comfortable. I sleep like a baby every night even if it is just for a few hours. Lastly, I use this mattress with the Mellow Naturalista Classic 12-Inch Solid Wood Platform Bed. This combination not only looks good together, but it is also such high quality. I would highly recommend this mattress! ... show more

    • Good for a few years, about 1,2000 nights.
I bought this mattress in November 2022; it is now May 2026 and it’s time to replace it. Major sag after a few years. Edge support has always been lacking, but it’s tolerable. If you are only looking for a cheaper mattress to last you a few years this is a good choice, but it is not a luxury or long term item. It is also pretty hot despite what the manufacturer might say. I will be investing in a higher quality, more expense mattress as a replacement. ... show more
