  • Simple, reliable, capable, and affordable dive computer for recreational divers
Color: White/Black
This thing just works! It is one of only two computers I would recommend without reservation to occasional recreational divers like myself who dive only a few dozen times a year. It has a clear, easy to read display that tells you everything you need to know on one screen when you are diving. It allows you dive with Nitrox. The battery is easy to replace, and lasts a good while. The single button interface is actually very easy to use once you get the hang of it. Is there anything wrong with it? I wish the safety stop countdown included seconds to, not just minutes The backlight isn't the greatest, but I've never actually had trouble reading the screen on any dive. It also does not sync wirelessly to your phone or computer by itself. But at this price point, I honestly do not think you can find a better device. The Leonardo has become the backup computer to my Shearwater Peregrine over the years (the only other computer I would personally recommend without hesitation). The Leonardo matches the far more expensive and capable Shearwater device for accuracy and safety on all my dives. Given how stupidly difficult, expensive, and confusing dive watches can be, I wish someone had told me to just buy this watch when I started diving well over a decade ago! If you are a beginning recreational diver and don't want to spend a whole lot of money on a computer, get this one. If you can spend a little more, spring for a Shearwater. ... show more

  • Reliable dive computer
Color: Black/Black
Reliable, clear screen and easy to navigate. No problems using on multiple dives and the fast ascension warning beeps are clear. Only issue is that it's *large* and occasionally spins around my S/M wrist

  • Excellent Dive Computer for the money.
Color: Black/Red
Great dive computer for the money. It is very basic but has everything you need. The only weakpoint that is the ascent meter could have more definition. It is a little difficult to distinguish if ascent is too fast or at appropriate rate.

  • Very easy to use and quite useful Very easy to use and quite useful
Fantastic computer and extremely easy to use. I decided to buy a computer since have started diving frequently and found that computer aren't that easy to handle, at least for me that I am Advance Open Water Padi and didn't dive with gases yet. This computer is pretty easy to use, with its single button interface. I set it up very fast, I could choose between metters or feet, celsius or farenheit, air or nitrox, safety factor (I used the default since I am a 'healthy' person) and other parameters that I never used. Since it has 1 single button, the way to use it is short press and long press, where short press is to change the menu and long press is to edit something. Once I got into de water, it was pretty easy to read (I have 1 point astigmatism in both eyes), with long press I turned the light on for a couple of seconds. Also the best features imho, are the heads up when I go up faster than I should do... it beeps and complains, in the safety stop it indicates easily the amount of remaining minutes. I feel much more confortable diving with it. I have just come from a dive into the Blue Hole in Belize where we dove at 40m depth (131ft) and it was my first dive so deep and using this computer made me feel more secure. The standard view into the water is the water temperature, max depth, current depth and current dive time. If you want to take a look you could check my fedepia84 youtube account videos in Belize (the name is "Scuba Diving in Esmeralda spot, Ambergris Caye, Belize"). Or you can check this video at the minute 5:30 where I test going up quickly to test the alarm heads up: [...] (Note: if you above this note the "[...]" text is because Amazon removed the link, so you will need to search the name above or check my comment below on this review) The only little thing I think it might be a cons, is that the watchband is sort of long and is little annoying (check the screenshot and video) and in one moment I didn't notice that the watchband grabber got released... nothing happens but I could have lost it. Next time I'll make sure to grab it tightly. ... show more

  • Won't turn on after changing battery - please read, this is a common problem!
Color: Black/Lime
Worked great and delivered as a basic dive computer for the first year. When I received it, the battery was only at 1/2 which is not a huge deal, but when it died I replaced the battery following the instructions closely. Now when putting the battery in a beeps and the backlight turns on for a second but then it fails to turn on thereafter. It's almost like only the screen isn't working, but the watch is because you can hear the beeps. The battery is exactly the same as the one that it came with, there's no erosion or water damage, and changing the battery is straightforward. After some google searching there are many threads and even Amazon reviews with this exact scenario. After reaching out to get help from their warranty team, I haven't gotten a response in over 4 weeks. I'd recommend going with another brand that will last you longer than the shelf life of 1 battery. ... show more

  • Easy to read and use
Color: Camouflage
This is a basic dive computer that works. Large display, easy to read, and durable. Took a few minutes to fully program including nitrox settings. Purchased 3 of these for backup computers for me and my family. After 35+ dives it was quickly becoming my primary computer over my Suunto D9, because it was reading nearly exactly the same but easier to see. It is not air integrated and the back light takes a little practice but I don't use those features so didn't bother me at all. Reading the screen at night with my dive light was easy. This is a great computer at a great price. It is basic, easy to read, easy to program, easy to understand, you can turn off the beeps, you can change the battery yourself, and works great as a primary or backup computer. A lot easier to program and change between nitrox and air. Does what it should and nothing extra, no gimmicks. I removed the band on each computer and attached it to a carabiner so it lives full time on my bcd. Would be helpful if the manufacturer created this as an optional accessory. You are probably not going to wear it daily as a watch because it's too big. Color is mostly just on the band. Not air integrated, which I like because that's a waste of money. It displays average depth for the dive, which is silly. Algorithm is good, matched my suunto, and programmable to adjust level of conservation preferences as well as diving at elevation. Automatically turns on when you jump into the water. Great price. Buy it ... show more

  • A hard watch to operate
Color: White/Black
It’s a fairly good dive watch. Unfortunately, it requires a ton of time to calibrate due to just having one button. I’ve owned many dive watches and this is a challenge to operate.
