I am a real human being, not a robot, not a number in a computer somewhere. I paid full price for this bed. It arrived in one giant box and we thought we were missing pieces but it was actually kind of a genius packing setup! There is a zipper in the back of the headboard and everything was inside the headboard. It was quite heavy initially! My husband & I took everything out, & I was worried the headboard would be flimsy without all the stuff in the back. It was not, it was very solid! We had the bed put together in about 45-60 minutes. It was VERY easy to do & the instructions were simple to follow. I AM overly impressed with quality of this bed for the price. We had a full bedroom suite made from hardwood so I was worried. Honestly, I was expecting something much cheaper in quality. The wooden bed slats are all attached to one another with Velcro (the Velcro is stapled to each slay several times) and you kind of roll the slats out & adhere them to Velcro on the side rails. The slats are also a nice heavy wood but very smooth, not at all splintered or sharp. We are still waiting on our King size mattress to arrive but threw our old Queen on it for now. No creaking, no squeaking. We’ve only slept one night on it but I will follow up with any issues or additional comments I have. I will also answer any questions, if I am able! ... show more

After years of sleeping on a mattress and box spring that were sitting directly on a concrete floor, my husband and I had a talk one day and decided that it was finally time for us to take the next step to being Real Adults and get a bed frame that lifted the mattress off the floor, supported said mattress, and also gave the appearance to other people who saw our bed that we were not just Real Adults, but also *Classy* Real Adults Who Have Good Taste In Furniture. After shopping around we decided on this one and I have to say, we nailed it. Not only does it meet all of the aforementioned standards for a bed frame, it also was super easy to put together, super sturdy and not even the slightest bit wobbly or creaky, and also...super reasonably priced. I bought this bed as a replacement and an upgrade for my Nectar mattress. It came on the delivery date stated. It was easy to get to all the parts that are nicely zippered into a pocket on the back side... I love that you can store stuff in it as a bonus.. Putting it together was simple it took me about 45 mins, I was not in a rush. It came with extra screws, the hex tool to tighten the screws. I would recommend loosening the screws all the way around before setting it up just as it is easier. You will want to have at least a fingertip length or more to have an easier time pushing the slots in. The wood planks have Velcro on them so start at the top and work your way down, they are nicely spaced out. Then tighten from foot-board to headboard. I love the fabric and feel of the material it is course feel, but super nice. There is also a 3 inch border around the headboard so if you want you can place a box of tissues up there or if you have children it's a new home for all their stuffies 😉. My only con..and not even a big deal is on the side boards were the Velcro is they could have done a light sanding on those to make them a have bit less rough edges..I could see someone possibly getting a small sliver. Overall I love the design of the bed and the color was exactly as described...more like a blue gray denim which is super nice. ... show more

I wanted a new upholstered bed with NO FOOTBOARD. My last bed took out my thigh every night and I had an ever present bruise. Anyways, I searched for literal months and found this. I got the one with USB ports Bc at the time it was cheaper than the one without. I figured if they didn’t work, no biggie. Well, they do so that’s an added bonus. All pieces came zipped in the headboard which was neat. Putting it together was super easy. I have a lot of Ikea furniture experience and this was much simpler. Just using the included Allen wrench to put in maybe 10 screws. It also came with a ratchet that I was extremely excited about! I will be placing it on a shelf for all future Allen wrench projects. I wanted a true storage bed Bc I was worried about having space fir my under bed storage and honestly they still fit. I may have to gently lift my bed to help at first but seeing as I only need to access them a few times a year, it’s all good. I love how the bed looks. Some photos show it looking darker gray but it’s fairly true to the photo colors from the ordering page. The slats are super stable which I appreciate. Most beds I saw had very few slats and that was worrisome. I have a four year old who loves jumping on beds and I wanted to make sure the slats could hold up. Plus maybe I’ll have a snuggle buddy someday and ain’t nobody got time for broken slats. Yes the legs are kinda cheapy looking but that is a minor thing when all in all, I have a lovely looking bed. This bed arrived in a big "flat" package the size of the headboard with all components zipped into the back of it. It was very heavy but once the components were removed, you can move the headboard into place and begin to build it. It was very easy to follow the instructions and put together. Its been almost a week and I have no complaints. The frame doesnt squeak or dip/bow. It feels very supported and sturdy. FYI the the legs are black plastic, not wood. But you dont really focus on them anyway. If you cared about the appearance you could always spray paint them oil-rubbed-bronze or another metalic shade first. Im very pleased with this purchase. My bed had to go in front of the window and this was one of the few low profile options that I liked. ... show more
