  • Sturdy - Great Deal
Style: Table Only
This table is so nice for the price! I needed a kitchen table to use until I found something I liked. I am pleasantly surprised by how nice this table is and decided to continue to use it instead of looking for something else. It is small - which I knew it would be - but it fits well in my dining area. I love the color and the style. It really is sturdier than I expected and it’s nice and level also (for the price I expected it to maybe feel wobbly but it doesn’t at all). It was really easy to assemble as well. The finish is nice also. It doesn’t seem to ding or scratch easily. I really can’t say enough good things about this table. ... show more

  • It's Just a Table, but I'm Very Satisfied
Style: Farmhouse
Okay, this isn't a massive, high dollar piece of handmade furniture from the Victorian Era for my dining hall, but I am very satisfied with it. The fact that I'm writing a review actually surprises me. The top has a rustic ("farmhouse") look to it and mine is in very good shape. With the routed channels and several prominent knots in the wood, it has a bit of 'character.' It's obviously just a table with four legs, so assembly was quick and so easy a caveman could do it.....if he has an Allen wrench. Which brings me to my next points. The legs bolt-on with two Allen bolts going into each leg, as you'd probably expect. The bolts go through a metal brace, and into threaded inserts in the legs. They use a flat, and lock washer, so don't crank on the bolts with all your strength. You could actually damage something if you try to get it too tight. Although you'd probably have to go through the stage of bending the fairly thin metal first. On the last bolt I was tightening I cranked on it until I heard a 'pop.' I immediately backed-off a little and left it at that. I had bent the metal a bit, but all is well. The table is rock-solid, and with lock washers on it I have complete confidence that it's secure. There's white wooden trim under the tabletop that can be seen in the photos that also serves as lateral support for the legs, so the construction is sound. I weigh over 200 pounds, and I wouldn't dance on the table (sober), nor have I even put all of my weight on it (and won't), i do believe it would **probably** hold me, but please don't think it's a good place for extremely heavy items. That's not what it's made for. Mine will basically be used as a microwave stand to free-up counter space, a place to put my Ninja Foodi cooker, my small smoothie maker and my juicer. I'll also use it as a prep. area for cooking and canning. I'm not sure what the rated weight capacity on the table is, but I would definitely respect it. I'd think I'll probably have no more than about 50 pounds on it, possibly less. (there's a 'Product Documentation' PDF available on Amazon) I should point out - one of the first things I noticed about this table was the great packaging. Although one corner of the box was slightly damaged, which is obviously very common in shipped items, it would have taken a lot more than that to actually damage the table or legs. The tabletop was wrapped well in that thin white foam material, whatever it is, and plastic, and the legs were also (individually) wrapped, placed underneath the tabletop, and surrounded by styrofoam. Lots of styrofoam around the table, too. Since the bolts that secure the legs are Allen-headed bolts, the company provides an Allen wrench, which is common among manufacturers. HOWEVER, something I don't believe I've ever seen is, not only did they provide a standard Allen wrench, they also included an Allen ratchet! Although it's not a necessity, the ratchet did speed-up an already very quick job. Such a nice touch that I'm actually writing about it. The wrench even had, what I assume is the company logo on it, and a '+' for Righty-Tighty, and a '-' for Lefty Loosey. It is a reversible wrench, also. The wood trim and legs are painted well and are also in excellent condition. The company also included (exactly) two extra bolts, two extra flat washers and two extra lock washers. Thankfully they were all provided in even numbers, or there would have been an issue, as I seem to have a 'problem.' :-( Lastly, I almost wish I had went ahead and bought the table and the matching two benches, but since the price was more than 3x with the benches included (with the current 7% discount on the table), and I didn't really need them (currently), there was really no need to spend the money. NOTE: I just noticed there's another company (Recacei) that looks to sell what appears to be this same (Zinus) table with a different (very nice), modern-looking, non-farmhouse/rustic top, **with** two benches **included** for just a few dollars more than this Zinus table sells for **without** the benches, but I really didn't look into it. So DYOR. ... show more

  • The color is all wrong but I'm keeping it
Style: Table Only
I am so disappointed by the color of this table, it shows as a dark brown (espresso) in the pictures but what I got is a Walnut finish and I am just so bummed. That being said, this table is so perfect and was so easy to assemble that I decided not to bother returning it. I will deal with the color OR maybe if it ends up bothering me too much, I'll paint it chocolate brown. I just spray painted a cherry wood colored chair to my utter delight. It might work for this too. Did I mention that it took me about 10 minutes to assemble this alone. I barely glanced at the instructions. It also came with 2 extra bolts and washers. It's not heavy but it is sturdy. I finally have my dining nook for my tiny house. Take a look at the result. ... show more

This was just the right size as an art table for a small space. VERY easy to assemble and the materials were all in good shape. Durable and nice looking. Am going to buy another one to make an L-shaped work space.

  • Perfect little table
Style: Table Only
I reached a point in my life when I promised myself no more particleboard furniture. With that one, simple limitation, finding an affordable desk for my new home office has been nearly impossible to find - used, new, online, or IRL. Supply chain problems and the prevalence of work from home during the pando seemed to stymie me at every turn. Then I stumbled upon this table. Based on the photos, description, price, and reviews, it seemed like maybe, just maybe this particular table could be the right solution to my solid-wood, home-office problems. But I was hesitant. I’ve been burned by online, too-good-to-be-true promises of products that failed me in the end. How could I be sure this one wasn’t just another in a long line of my life’s disappointments. Then I noticed it. The name of the company. Zinus. It rung a bell, but I couldn’t quite call from the depths of my age-ravaged mind where I had seen that name before. Was it a dream? Was it an allergy medicine that had been outlawed in the mid ‘70s? I had to sleep on it. Sleep. Sleep … THAT WAS IT! Zinus was the name of the bed frame that I bought long ago and slept contentedly on for years, until I had to have my spouse arrested and thrown out of my house and my life. The bed went, too. So many ghosts. But then I found a new bed frame (queen this time) and a mattress from Zinus. A beautiful bed frame that was easy to assemble with minimum effort, a lackluster toolbox, and very little mechanical ability on my part. I also have a Zinus mattress. It’s firm. But not too firm. It’s not like sleeping on a rock, but it is like sleeping on a rock wrapped in love and smooshy stuffy and the knowledge that that man will never darken my doorstep again. Anyway, with all that in mind I ordered the table. I thought, what the heck, Zinus hasn’t done me wrong yet. The table came today - impeccably packed, and smelling of Lemon Pledge, but not in a gross way. Even I, with my aforementioned limitations, was able to assemble the table in about 15 minutes. They even included a snazzy little ratchet tool (the good kind of ratchet) to help put it together. It’s as solid as my conviction to stay single for the rest of my life, and just the perfect size for the space it needed to fill - in my room and in my heart. So, yeah, it’s a good table. Would recommend. My only warning is that the color is more ‘mocha frappuccino’ than ‘espresso’. And I should know, I live in the greater Seattle area - the birthplace of Starbucks! But that’s a quibble. ... show more

It’s really easy to put together. You just screw the legs on. I think it’s cute. It’s small which is perfect for our space.
