It raised my bed about 6 inches. My futon is about 10 inches so 16 inches in total it comes with storage space of 3 inches underneath the bed, which I don’t mind because I don’t have a lot of stuff but if you’re looking for more space height wise underneath your bed, this is not the one for you. super easy to assemble. I have bought from this brand a number of times and have never had a bad experience. We have owned this bed for a few months now and really enjoy it. It was easy to assemble and came without defect. The bed is quiet and sturdy and we are very happy. Bought the queen size for my daughter. She put it together with her brother. It took them less than an hour. We tested it (a few of us full size people on it at once, moving around to see how it held up). It was great. Now she's using it without a box spring and it feels great! Ordered two of these frames however one of them came damaged. Judging by the damage it was packaged this way by manufacturer. Otherwise it was easy to assemble and seems sturdy.

So far, so good! I love how easy this was to install. The instructions were clear, the parts needed were separated and labeled, and all tools needed came with the bed frame. I love the Velcro to keep the boards in place, and the "adhesive" that keeps the mattress in place. Feels heavy duty, which I like. All in all, so far so good! ... show more

I wanted to add a review for the 14" version. We needed something without a headboard because our bed goes under an old-fashioned window that opens into the room. I searched for months for something that wasn't too low and that had clean lines before finding this option, and I couldn't be happier. It's super sturdy (and doesn't squeak), looks great, and there's plenty of room for storage beneath. I found it a bit of a hassle to put together (I could not for the life of me figure out the little wrench they sent with it)--it probably took me an hour all told--but I love it. ... show more
