This is by far the easiest bed to assemble in the world. 4 bolts. The metal frame is in long (and very sturdy) pieces, so no middle bolts business. The wooden part is attached with velcro and it is really easy. The bed looks nice, put together in 10 minutes and seems very sturdy.

You don't need any tools for this it comes with everything you need including a little ratchet driver! There are 13 bolts you have to contend with. The frame consists of six pieces total. And the slats velcro to the frame. 11/10 would recommend.

I bought a tiny home in the mountains. It has a wrap around loft that’s about 4’ tall. Furthermore it’s an A-frame. I tried an air mattress but every few days I’d have to plug it in and fill it. I found this metal frame on Amazon. It’s 6” high and then I purchased a 6” gel foam mattress. I’m a 62 year old lady. I, alone, unboxed the frame and carried the pieces up to the loft and in 30 minutes had it put together. It’s absolute perfect for my particular need. It’s high enough to put some small items under the bed, it’s extremely sturdy, very well made, solid and attractive. I love that I actually have a “real bed” upstairs. I personally would never want a bed this low in a regular-size bedroom—not when one could have a tall, beautiful platform with a really nice headboard. This, however, is the PERFECT BED FRAME for a converted attic or loft that’s not tall enough to hold a regular size bed frame without your nose touching the ceiling. ... show more

The bed arrived on time and well packaged. The instructions are very straightforward and putting the bed together went quickly, even by myself. The slats have velcro so they do not slide around, plus the top of a couple of slats have sticky strips that keep the mattress in place. Very sturdy frame and is perfect for my smallish room. I like that it is low to the floor since the grandkids are often spending the night and it makes it easier for them to get in and out of bed. I recommend making the purchase if you are on the fence about it. Looks great in my room and hasn't affected the comfort of the mattress to me. ... show more

Let me preface this by saying I am not the handiest person in my household. I put this bed frame together all by myself and with ease. The product was equipped with all tools and correct hardware. Simple instructions and minimal packaging. I was very impressed!!! I dock a star bc my house is cabin style with pine walls. The bed frame seemed like it have been a perfect match (pre judging from product photos and customer reviews). Mine looked dark, grey and drab. I still love it and it elevates the room.
