  • Headline: Drunk 5'4" Single Woman Assembles King Bed Alone And Nothing Broke
Size: King Color: Grey
I ordered this because it looked and claimed to be easy to assemble. I live alone on the third floor of a big apartment complex, the kind where humans live in their little cubby holes in a row of cubbies. I wanted to eliminate the hauling I'd have to do as much as possible, and was delighted to find some poor UPS guy had delivered the 7 ft long box directly to my door. I was doubly-delighted because I was already a bottle of wine in that evening and I'm one of those cursed with the propensity to break things, sober or not. There are pictures of 2 men lifting all over the box, clearly indicating what was expected to do the job, so of course I grabbed the box and wrestled it into my apartment all by mahself, because #feminism or whatever. I should preface the remainder of this review by explaining that I may be all of 5'4" on a good day, but I'm also a competitive bodybuilder, so I can lift things and stuff, but once the bed was indoors, things got easier. So if you're all of 5'4" and not a bodybuilder, that first part may be hard, but I believe in you. The instructions were only two pages, but I wasn't upset. I mean, lately I've seen the furniture directions where the paper is one page with 100 different pieces depicted, with all the arrows pointing to them all going together, so the instructions are literally just, "Take all the parts and put them together, then done." Those make me want to hurt someone. But these instructions made all the sense. You take the big pieces, hook them into each other, and then you already have the base done, boom. They even supply a super cute little rubber mallet to make the process easier. Of course, I didn't see that until I had man-handled all the pieces into place and was sweating out all the wine. Then you drop the slats into place, easy peasy. But then, this slip cover.... Look, my one complaint is that it came with a tag that explained which way was forward, top, etc. on the slip cover, but the thing had fallen off and was sitting sadly in my hand while I stared blankly at the slip cover, not knowing which was was up, down, or sideways. So I had another sip (swig, chug...) of wine and began wrestling that damn thing on. Now I know from experience and can warn you that if the slipcover fitting feels impossible and makes you curse the fact that society thinks that mattresses on floors is unacceptable for functioning adults, you are probably putting it on wrong. I wrestled with it in 3 different directions until the last time, it finally seemed to fit right into place, and I realized I had it right finally. Hint: The zipper zips on top. Yeah, didn't realize that the first 2 times. The legs go on way easier than expected, right through pre-cut holes in the slip cover. And then BAM. I was suddenly an adult again and no longer sleeping on the floor. So if you're wondering if this will be as easy as it claims and work for you, the answer is probably yes. I might recommend the wine to go with the experience. Particularly, a good cabernet will help get the job done. Men not required. ... show more

  • 20 minute solo assembly with margarita in hand
Size: Full Color: Grey
Based on a little research and the review from the woman who assembled one alone while drinking wine, I purchased this bed frame. When it arrived, I made a margarita and got to work. It was easy to assemble. I love that everything snaps into place and there are no screws to keep track of or step on. The trickiest part was getting the cover on; but, flipped on its side, it wasn’t too challenging. The frame feels sturdy and strong. ... show more

I don't write reviews but I read em because it's helpful to me. So I figured I would like to help someone else. Yes 20 minutes no sweat. Sturdy. End result is pleasing. One thing put it together while the cover is around the parts do all u have to do is zip it over the finished product. ENJOY BECAUSE I AM :-) ... show more

  • Great bed frame, easy to assemble, takes minimal floor space
Size: Queen Color: Navy
I have a Tuft & Needle mattress, which I've just been using on the floor. It was easy to build on my own and comes with a rubber mallet. The bed sits high, which, as a tall person, is wonderful to get on and off of. The design looks like an old school box spring and supports the mattress just as well. One of the reasons I had put off buying a bed frame/foundation is because I was worried it would take up too much room in my otherwise small bedroom -- this foundation is precisely the size of the mattress, so it fits snugly into the corner of the room. I would definitely recommend. ... show more

  • I purchased the King size foundation together with the their mattress(it's amazingly comfortable!! ) and it's been over a week ...
Size: King Color: Beige
Superb product!! I purchased the King size foundation together with the their mattress(it's amazingly comfortable!!) and it's been over a week since 3 of us (parent+toddler) having good quality sleep. I not only love the clean and modern design, but also the well-thought design avoiding all the nails/nuts/bolts and simple structural frames - this allows to have longer use life even with multiple movings without worrying about missing pieces. While this product performs great in supporting both vertical and lateral forces, it's also very easy to assemble- it only took me 10-minutes to fully assemble as a first user. I also like the option of not attaching legs as I prefer to have a lower bed. Definitely recommend their products!!! ... show more

  • A few quirks, but a good product
Size: King Color: Grey
It is quite easy to assemble, I did not need to use the mallet. One piece came broken (the metal cone used to guide one of the cross bars had broken it's weld) but it did not effect assembly. Placing the frame into the zippered slip cover is quite a chore. If I were to reassemble, I would build the frame inside the cover, rather than attempt to slip it over at the end. If you plan on placing the frame on a solid surface, I would suggest some leveling pads or felt on the bottom of the legs. The dowel screws are not inserted into the wooden legs properly (which you will notice when you screw them into the frame, or you can roll the leg on a solid surface and watch the screw "wobble") Without leveling pads or felt, it will put a lot of weight on the rim of the leg, and create a hard crease in laminate flooring. ... show more

  • Very impressed!
Size: King Color: Grey
We bought one full sized for our daughter and one king sized for us. Both went together so easily. We were so impressed. It looks nice and seems very sturdy. The grey cover and legs are attractive enough that I won't need to get a bedskirt. I'm very pleased with the purchase. If we have any trouble with it, I'll edit my review. ... show more

  • Great design and easy to assemble
Size: King Color: Grey
Great design for a light weight portable frame. Took me about 30 minutes to assemble, should have been 20 minutes had I read the directions. Would have given it 5 stars had they not sent me the wrong size first go round and had the mattress on the floor for a week.
