Five stars for sure. Great price. We wanted a streamlined look with no headboard. I am a woman in my 60s who installed this by myself and it took about an hour and I took my sweet time, lol. All hardware is included; instructions are there with pictures. I ditched my original king's split box springs and once we put the mattress on this platform there was a noticeable positive improvement in the support. We actually slept better than before and my husband was really happy with this purchase. Everything arrived in perfect order; the manufacturer packed it securely, no dings, damage, or defects. It fit our mattress perfectly and there are sticky panels to hold everything in place. We love the storage area under the bed. This is a great value, sturdy, no squeaks, and very much an upgrade.

It's perfect. It took me an hour to assemble and it's super sturdy. The inbox ratchet does all the works so assembly is super simple and easy. My king mattress has a lot of support and it's high enough off the ground so my sheets don't touch the floor and I can store things under the bed with ease. It's also very light so moving to clean is also very easy. My mattress is secure, it doesn't slide or move while sleeping or haha ya know and my back has support. The bed frame itself doesn't slide or move around the floor either but it is easy to move if you want to rearrange. Sounds or squeaks isn't something that concerns me so I say this product is amazing for its price it's got a lot of value. The color is also very pretty I got the darker color and I love it. Plus the legs don't stick out or anything it's a perfect square. Thanks guys!

This has been a study, no squeaks, high enough off the ground, bed frame that we have really loved and for the price that we got it we are very happy with it. It has survived one move and many nights of sleep. The smallness of the frame was greatly appreciated in the move. I though that we would miss a head board but the wall has been plenty good for us and we can store all of the totes that we bought underneath it, making it easy to store items under the bed with out a fear of them getting lost or dirty. We like the wood color as well and it was easy and quick to assemble. We have not noticed any sagging on the frame either and we do not use a box frame.

I'm moving out of state when I retire in four years, so I didn't want to spend a lot on a bed that I wasn't going to have for very long. My previous platform bed had those skinny metal slats. I took great pains to avoid those this time because if you are heavy or sleep with a partner, they bow over time and mine had reached the point where they were so bent that they didn't reach all the way across anymore and were falling to the floor. I was sleeping at a 20 degree angle, not flat, and worried that I was either going to roll out of bed in my sleep or crash to the floor. You would be surprised how hard it is to find an affordable platform bed that has wide wood slats instead of those skinny metal ones. It took months to find this one. I am so happy with it! I'm sleeping on a flat surface again. It is solid and secure even though I weigh nearly 200 pounds. The price is amazing. It was cheaper than some of the used ones I looked at. I even was able to easily attach it to an old headboard I already had (it doesn't come with one). Bonus that it is made of bamboo, which is so much better for the environment than other materials. My only criticism is assembly is a real pain in the butt. My nephew put it together for me. He's a professional construction worker, and it took him all day. If you aren't handy, I would suggest paying someone to put it together for you.

(Excuse the mess) I just came back to buy another of this exact bedframe after owning one since March of this year. This is a fantastic frame for the price. I carefully took it out of its packaging for assembly and it had no flaws. Assembly was easy and done by myself over the course of a hour and a half with a few breaks. The wood feels quality, as much as other more expensive frames of similar style. This bedframe is sturdy as all get out. It doesn’t wobble or squeak. I have had it in a guest room, with kids using it to adults, two of them at a time about 260 lbs and the bedframe has remained completely solid and stable. Have not had to tighten or adjust. The mattress does not slide around. The brown is a good neutral brown that can compliment many aesthetics, especially the modern forest boho theme in the room it is in. The wood may look a little thin in pictures but don’t let that dissuade you, it’s thick and feels heavy and high quality in person. I have slept on this bed a few nights and I have gotten great sleep, the frame seems more durable than other high end frames I have had in the past. I love it so much, that whole redoing another room and trying to pick a frame, I decided to come back and purchase this one. The price is amazing for the quality and function. The height at 14” is perfect next to a standard height nightstand, and to not be to low to the ground or to high up. Definitely recommend this bedframe. Great for a guest room, bedroom, kids or adults. Also plus size friendly and rated to withstand 1000 lbs.

I will write in this review the same thing I wrote to Zinus product support, who I’m waiting for a response from: “After trying two different mattresses, including a Zinus mattress, a Bunkie board, and a foam topper, I have finally discovered what why my partner and I have been in constant pain this last year. The slats of the Zinus frame SINK with the slightest bit of weight, and KILL me and my partner’s back. I took a video but I cannot figure out how to add video to this file. Give me an email address and I will send it to you guys. I’m really disappointed because we’ve suffered a year of back pain. We aren’t particularly heavy people. I have been a longtime customer of Zinus and I have purchased three mattresses from you. This was my first bed frame from Zinus and I’m so disappointed at how much the slats have been sinking when we sleep. We are gonna keep the mattress but we are going to have to go with an IKEA frame with the stronger slats. I don’t know how to return the Zinus frame but it’s destroyed my back. Included below is my proof of purchase along with all the other things I bought to try to fix my back pain (until I finally decided to look under the bed while I partner laid down and saw the slats SAGGING). This whole past year….wow. If I had known, we could have saved so much grief. We literally have been limping around for a year because of the pain…you need to make better support for your King sized frames and slats. It’s just unacceptable to do this to loyal customers.” So yeah that’s pretty much it. If you’re on this bed frame and your back hurts, don’t blame your mattress just yet- blame the weak support of this Zinus frame.

Such quality in everything from packaging to materials used. You can tell they put a lot of thought into how the product looks as soon as you open the box and I respect this company. Oh and an included ratchet to help build the frame is just the cherry on top. I know other sellers would’ve made me suffer with just an Allen and screws that would break at the slightest overtightening done. If I ever need another bed frame, this is the first place I’m going to be looking.
