  • well made, packaged and easy to assemble
Size: King Style: 8 Inch Pattern Name: New Version
Very well designed and packaged. Very easy to assemble. Metal bracing with metal springs attached is notorious for squeaking, which is why I purchased this one. There's none of that. It does NOT squeak. I worked in the mattress/bedding industry for 6 years and I like this box spring because the only metal parts are the screws. The cover fits well. I saw a lot of complaints about it being too tight or it doesn't fit. I think it fits great. It's snug, sure, but it fits fine. Sleep tight :) ... show more

  • One old bag got this assembled in 25 mins.
Size: Full Style: 4 Inch Pattern Name: New Version
You get what you pay for. This 65 yr old woman put it together without issues in 25 mins. there are thoughtful details like felt on the center support beam to dampen bounce and squeaks. Also the cover is well made, nicely fitted and made from study materials. If you don't love hauling your mattress up out of its bed frame to tuck in sheets, this is the ticket. Tips for easy peasy assembly: 1 Lay out ALL the bamboo framing right sides up in position. 2 Screw all pieces together LOOSELY at first, so go one time around, including center beam, just turning the bolts enough to attach pieces without tightening anywhere. 3 Now go around screwing in the bolts to hand tightness. 4 Finally use the nifty rachet included to tighten fully. Don't over tighten or crack anything, use commonsense. (One person assembly tip: assemble the frame w/o straps if you have to position on bed frame by yourself, it's lighter. Straps can easily be placed with this inside the bed frame.) 5 Figure out where the peg holes are drilled into the last/first strap of wood in each series of straps attached by velcro. 6 Keeping the straps in a stack position the strap with holes over the middle of bed pegs, velcro on bottom, and lay out straps one by one to pull velcro tight and smooth going up to head or down to foot. Adjust as needed. 7 Cover and badabing, done! One person can easily do this so long as they understand you never screw to death on the first go-round. Maybe Kings would be too much for one person but a Full was a cinch and a 6" wider Queen size would've been do-able as well. ... show more

  • Good box spring
Size: Queen Style: 4 Inch Pattern Name: New Version
I like this bamboo box spring much more then the metal ones. It was very easy to put together, doesn't squeek and its sturdy not flimsy. Cover fits well. Good value for the money.

  • Works great (once we got the cover on)
Size: King Style: 8 Inch Pattern Name: Old Version
Works great. IF THE COVER DOESN’T FIT, try turning it sideways. We had a HECK of a time with it.

  • Easy set up, works great
Size: King Style: 4 Inch Pattern Name: New Version
The wood seems much better quality and stability than all of those cheap metal box springs. Put it together quickly and provides ample support- no squeaks.

  • Add New Life to Your Mattress
Size: Queen Style: 4 Inch Pattern Name: Old Version
We’ve had our queen-sized hybrid mattress for about 4 years. We brought it home and not knowing any better, placed it on our old box springs. After about 2 nights, I started having my doubts, but thought I’d give it a chance. Life got in the way and we missed the return window, so we were stuck with this expensive, too-soft, hot-sleeping behemoth. 4 years later, I decided I was tired of having to almost pole vault into bed because ours was so high, and decided to order a shorter box spring. So this Zinus foundation came into our lives. It was so easy to assemble, took me about 30 minutes, put it on the bed frame, and dropped the mattress on it. I could tell a difference the minute I crawled in bed. It felt firmer, my behind didn’t sink into the mattress, my waist didn’t sink down when I turned on my side, I could actually sit down on my bed instead of giving a little jump then having to leverage myself up with my arms. Same thing next night, and the next. I fell in love with my mattress again, all due to this foundation. My mattress doesn’t seem to make me as hot, no squeaky springs, no bouncing around when my partner gets in bed or rolls over, and my fitted sheet doesn’t seem to pull away from the corners as badly. Money definitely well-spent, and even better because I managed to snag it on a limited-time deal. Knowing what I know now, I would gladly pay full price for it. ... show more

  • Nice features and very good support for top mattress
Size: Queen Style: 4 Inch Pattern Name: New Version
I bought the 4" height for a very tall mattress from Costco which does not have a box spring. I could tell immediately it's a good product. To prepare for the mattress top, I removed the old box spring, set up the new one, and placed the old mattress on top until delivery of the new. I could feel the improved support! The slats have velcro to secure them in place when the top mattress is added. It's a very smart design. I would not say the product is the highest quality, you get what you pay, but I gave it 5 stars for its value. I also read other reviews of metal bases where the top mattress slide in between the slats and there is some give in the middle. ... show more

  • Decent run but now noisy
Size: Queen Style: 8 Inch Pattern Name: New Version
I waited to write a review as I wanted to see how long this piece would last before starting to make noise. It has been 4 months and now I cannot get it to stop making noises with each and every move. It appears to be pieces that came already attached that are making the noises. Granted, it was super easy to put together and seems to be made from good materials. I just wish there was a way to stop the noise between the pieces. ... show more
