  • Easy, sturdy, good fit support
Size: Twin Pattern Name: Slats
Easy to use and sturdy. Laying them on the bed frame could not be simpler. They are plenty sturdy for a twin bed and provide good support. The mattress will have more to do with overall firmness but this gives it a good foundation. It fits the twin frame very well.

  • Makes your bed more comfortable!
Size: Twin Pattern Name: Slats
Works just like a box spring but smaller and easier to deal with. I used on a set of bunk beds and a daybed where you need the extra support, but a normal box spring is too big and bulky. Both kids said their mattress had more support and was more comfortable. I was getting ready to replace the mattresses, but this improved them so much that I don't have to for a while. Came in a box rolled up so easy to bring in. Wrapped in plastic so clean. Just have to unroll and put on the bed. They do not fit the whole frame there is a couple of inches of a gap but not a problem for me. Easier to put on the fitted sheet that way. Great quality, affordable price and came in quickly. • Works great, if you know what it is for.
Size: Queen Pattern Name: Slats
Was skeptical of Zinus, they have "2,000 lb." bed frames for memory foam mattresses that break in a year (white label: it's the same as many other frames for $125.) But these did the job. Vertical wood slats combined with my existing bed frame's metal horizontal beams means no sagging, every part of the bed feels even, and no dipping. Some notes: -- For spring mattresses, this will NOT replace your box spring. Seen a lot of pics of folks putting this in traditional metal bed frames expecting it to work. (Same as any other long planks of wood: if a kid jumps on the mattress, without cross members, it'll snap. What is expected here?) This is meant to add stability to beds with existing horizontal slats of some kind (wood, metal, etc.) that are just too far apart for a mattress to be well supported. -- Sliding around is real, but again, this shouldn't be the sole thing holding the mattress up. This is intended to be part of mattress support, not a sole support. After placing the mattress on, I let the planks shift inward, then pulled them back to the edge and checked underneath that none were overlapping or doubled up. All set. -- My current bed frame has horizontal slats, but the measurements were over 6" apart, which is against most memory foam mattress warranties. By putting these over it, it has a "lattice" appearance combined with the horizontal slats, and the wood makes contact with each horizontal slats distributing weight across all of the slats evenly (versus each horizontal slats receiving pressure and shifting/bending/buckling over time on their own.) -- Mold sucks. I'm sorry for those who found them with mold shipped. This is common with wood products and shipping containers + moisture + time, it is extremely possible these left the factory 100% but had spores on the wood or they transferred on from other contaminated product mid shipment. Its also possible Zinus failed a quality check. I'm not writing this for them. I bought these, no freebies or review samples here. I'm a big guy, but not tremendously so. 280 lbs, 6 ft. tall. And I've learned that most weight ratings on mass-produced bed platforms are nonsense. Anything spot-welded breaks over time just as easily as wood snaps given time and repeated pressure. I don't even slump down when I'm tired, I'm careful to sit each time before lying, and it still happens. The goal is getting more time out of a cheap bed frame, versus paying $600-1,200 for something with all sorts of feature I don't need (shelves, upholstered pillow-stitch headboard, trundle bed, drawers, etc.) that is likely assembled the exact same way with the same quality of parts. In closing, you can't pay for quality without overseeing someone custom-building it or doing it yourself. So, stack the deck where you can. This isn't going to replace a box spring. But it's a lot less unwieldy and likely cheaper (wood prices haven't really come back down) than getting a plywood sheet from the hardware store cut to fit your bedframe, stapling a fabric cover over it, and laying over the slats to 'back them up'. That's what this is for. ... show more

  • Good product
Size: King Pattern Name: Slats
Good product, seen a lot of complaints that it slides a bit but easily fixable with double sided tape in a couple spots. Worth the money

  • Game-Changer for Any Mattress! Sturdy, Sleek, and Surprisingly Simple!
Size: Twin Pattern Name: Slats
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered the ZINUS Compact Fabric Covered Wood Slats, but I’m so glad I gave it a try. This little gem has completely transformed my son’s twin bed setup! He no longer wakes up complaining about his mattress sagging or feeling uncomfortable, and trust me, for a growing boy, sleep is everything. What I Loved: Easy Setup: It came pre-assembled and rolled up. I literally just unrolled it onto the bed frame. No tools. No fuss. Done in under 2 minutes. Strong Support: These slats are solid. My son jumps on the bed (as kids do), and these slats don’t budge or creak. It feels like a high-end box spring without the bulk. Low Profile: Perfect for bunk beds or low platform frames. I paired it with a medium-firm mattress and it gave the perfect amount of lift without making the bed too high. Fabric Covered: The clean design adds a nice touch, and the fabric helps prevent the mattress from sliding around. Perfect for: Replacing bulky box springs Making bunk beds safer and more comfortable Anyone needing a minimalist but strong foundation. Final Thoughts: This is one of those things you don’t realize you need until you try it. It’s a small upgrade with a big impact. If you're on the fence don’t be. It’s well worth it! ... show more

  • Does the job
Size: King Pattern Name: Slats
Supports the mattress well and seems like decent build quality. Doesn't slide much under the weight of the mattress. Very convenient to set up by just unfolding two separate sections to make a king size. True to size

  • Absolute Godsend - worth every penny!
Size: King Pattern Name: Slats
I currently have a king size bed (two twin mattresses pushed together), and a few sets of the provided slats on the side that I primarily use keep popping/falling out, and they are next to impossible to put back in. This inevitably led to a sagging mattress which in turn led to back pain. I figured there HAD to be some kind of a way to fix this, so upon doing some research for bunkie boards, I found these under the highest rated ones. Let me tell you, I don’t think I could be happier! They fit PERFECTLY (I did have to use a tape measure before ordering them), they are very lightweight, and they fold and unfold very easily. I am amazed at how durable and supportive they are, and the fact that there is a set of two for the king size works great for my bed. They were not badly priced either, and they were here next day (I badly needed them)! If you have a sagging mattress and need extra support, buy these - you will NOT be disappointed! ... show more
