Great for holding my memory foam matress. The matress cant slid between. And with the frame below I can sit up. Turn and be at a perfect sit postion. To stand up work unloading trucks. And walk all day the matress I got is perfect.

Had never heard of a box spring that is not made from wood. At first, I was skeptical to order a box spring from steel. My skepticism then got slightly worse when I read some negative reviews about "OHM, it takes too long to assemble!" Being an engineer and an optimist upon reading majority of great reviews, I went ahead and placed an order for queen box spring. Not only it arrived in time but it was also well-packed. It is heavy and you will need 2 people to carry the box from outside to your bedroom. Once I unopened the box, I was surprised to find the individual pieces tied up in groups based where they all go. Every single piece is numbered and lettered. A piece numbered "1" connects to another piece numbered "1", numbered "2" connects with another numbered "2". Very simple and easy. The kit also comes with tools. The part breakdown is as per below: A (inner long rail) = 2 B (inner short rail) = 1 C (outer short rail) = 2 D (outer long rail-1) = 2 E (outer long rail-2) = 2 F (Slats) = 10 S (shortest screws) = 8 M (mid-length screws) = 4 L (long screws) = 2 H (nuts) = 10 The best advice is that open the box, remove the cable ties, lay out all parts on floor as per the intended connection and get an idea of who connects to who (without actually assembling). It is otherwise called a "raw" or a "draft" assembly". Once it is done, it takes 30 minutes MAX to connect all components. I then put the cover on it and zipped it up. Voila, it was now ready to be placed on the bed. The moment of truth was moments away. My daughter and I lifted it up and placed it on her queen bed. It fit perfectly. We then put the mattress and lied down on it. It is very sturdy and does not squeak upon rolling. Overall, it is very strong and affordable. Here is the best part. It can be unassembled and moved to another place much easily (than the traditional wood box spring). I highly recommend it. Buy it with full confidence! ... show more

Size: Full Style: 9 inch Pattern Name: New Quick Assembly
The Positives: -It was pretty simple to assemble (or would have been see cons). Just 6 screws. Straightforward instructions. Minimal parts to connect. -It feels solid with two adults and a child in it. -Not Noisy so far. Silent in fact. I was concerned about it being noisy so I added electrical tape at all metal to metal contact points. Particularly the end of the cross braces. This made things fit tighter and there shouldn't be any metal rubbing together now. Can't say this made the difference but it is quiet. -Price. Local retailers were quoting me 2-3 hundred for a traditional box spring. Apparently they aren't commonly used anymore which is the reason stated for the high prices. -The cover was easy to fit. It's basically just a fitted bed sheet. Cons: -No surprise, the metal is the typical cheap Chinese pot metal. -The machining for one of 6 screw holes was missing most of it's threads. This made it impossible to assemble using the screws provided. Thankfully I had a box of nuts and bolts and was able to complete the assembly without the screw. -Two of the cross braces didn't have the plastic grommet in the end of them. This would have meant extra metal to metal contact. I remedied this by fashioning my own grommet out of furniture foot pads. I shouldn't have needed to do this but I'm sure it will work better now anyway. Tip: Use electrical tape at all metal to metal contact points to avoid noisy metal to metal friction. This was at the end of cross braces and then the center contact point where 4 screws are connected. Summary: It was a very cheap solution that seems to solve the problem. If you don't have a little Macgyver ability you might want to avoid this. The quality of the material and machining matches the price. Ease of assembly with simple instructions is a plus. Will update if the thing falls apart. Update 9/25/25: Still holding up. Haven't had to tighten anything and it's still quiet. Keep in mind though that this is being used for a childs bed but Mom and Dad do spend a fair amount of time getting in and out of it. ... show more
