We have a 7 year old boy and this frame seems like it will have no problem holding up under his antics. We intentionally didn't buy a wood slat frame because we were worried about things like crazy jumping on the bed and broken slats. As a bonus it was cheaper than the wood counterpart we were considering. This box spring came broken down in a cardboard box. Once we opened it up, there were tubular metal pieces, screws, nuts, an allen wrench, and a small wrench. It took one of us about 15 minutes to put together. The directions were easy to follow and picture/diagram based rather than words. The tools held up fine for us. The frame felt sturdy. The cover was fabric and zipped into place over the metal frame once it was built. The cover edge is dark gray and looked nice without a dust ruffle. The cover fit well so we didn't have to fight it into place. It zipped on 3 sides. He's been sleeping with his mattress on it for about a week now and reports that he likes it and that it's comfortable. We like it!

I now have a partially assembled frame taking up the whole living room floor, and due to what appears to be an easily noticeable manufacturing/welding issue with one of the outer-frame pieces, the foundation cannot be assembled. There were other reviews of issues with welding and/or other problems with the metal frame that looked obvious, but the proportion of more positive reviews encouraged me to take a chance. I've called customer service twice [now 3 times, having left a message], but I only get a voice mail, strangely to the same # inbox each time, which makes me question if they have multiple agents answering lines or just one answering machine catching all calls. Also, the pieces of metal that consist of this foundation are very cheap. I think this foundation is a bit overpriced, after looking at the quality of materials, even if in perfect condition. What you're paying for is probably shipping and a good-size markup. I'll update this review pending satisfactory remedy from the Zinus or Amazon.

As soon as I received the box spring, I started to put it together. Upon opening, the plastic straps were broken and I noticed that some of the bars were scratched and the plastic on the ends of the bars were cracked, chipped or broken. I'm assuming the product was returned used and sold used. A little disappointed as I didn't order a used box spring. I did receive the cover as brand new. Building was simple, once i figured out what letters matched the pieces. Another reason why I assume the product was sold used. I had a difficult time which piece was which letter, this took me longer to figure out that putting the product together. Had the letters been attached to the corresponding piece and strapped with the corresponding piece, piecing everything together would have started much quicker. Overall, I'm happy with the product. My girlfriend and I have were given the money for Christmas to finally get a bedroom set we'd been waiting for since May 2017. Believe me when I say, I've been trying to buy furniture for months now, but my girlfriend insisted on waiting until her mom had the money to buy it for us. This was a moving out gift. From May until now, we've been sleeping on just a mattress on the floor. We're finally lifted up. The frame is sturdy and comfortable. Easy to put together (once you figure out which pieces is what) and affordable. Did I mention that cleaning the cloth of the box spring will be easier and if it's torn, you can easily replace it at an affordable price? If you're on a budget, want to save the extra cash, this is the product for you. Box springs can get pretty expensive, but this helped me keep more money in my pocket.

What a remarkable item! I needed a low box spring for my new Tuft & Needle mattress. Because it came so highly recommended, i chose to give it a try. It did not disappoint in any way. I had very little difficulty putting it together and inserting it in its cover. Carrying it from the garage to the bedroom presented no difficulties...and I am 72! It has given excellent support to my new mattress. Would I recommend it to my friends...My Family members have already ordered on for their beds. If my Family liked it, my friends will have no trouble with it!

I assumed by buying a full size box spring, that it would fit my full size bed. Wrong. Full size can be 53-54 inches. This product is barely 53 inches wide. My frame is 54 inches and non-adjustable. Ergo the only way to make this work is by adding slats. Returning it would be too much of a hassle. Extremely disappointed but I can hardly fault the seller/manufacturer when the width is clearly listed in the description. The instructions were not clear, but it was easy enough to figure out the assembly. The quality of the product is good, would be perfect if it were 54". I like the 5 inch height.

This product received a one star because it could not be assembled properly in one section due to a manufacturing error and that the call center was not available on a Saturday. Something that you may want to think about is that this product was produced in an automated process and that the mold that the metal was cast into was off by an inch, which means that there are certainly other sets out there with the same defect.

I was very excited to receive this box spring because I read good reviews and had heard good things about the brand so I figured I’d give it a try. The description says easy assembly and I did not find that to be true. It took me over 2 hours and the descriptions and pictures of directions are very confusing. I also did not receive all of my required pieces of hardware so I was almost finished with assembling this box spring and then realized I didn’t have everything I needed. I then called customer service and Amazon was very helpful when they reached the customer service for this brand but the brand said that they can only send me a whole new box spring, not just a replacement hardware kit which I did not like. So I then had to take apart the whole thing and put it back in the box to return it. Very disappointed in the fact that they couldn’t just send me the missing hardware that I paid for.
