I agonized over purchasing a mattress topper. I bought a 2" and it wasn't enough. It made the bed cushy but I bottomed out. My husband loves out mattress and I hate it because I can feel the springs, I'm a side and stomach sleeper, he's a back sleeper. I bought this topper, a mattress protector that had extra deep pockets and sheet holders to make sure nothing slid around since there would be so many layers on top of the bed. It comes in deflated and wrapped in plastic. If you open the plastic on the bed it's easier to get it in place. It immediately inflated and had no smell. It was not damaged and it fit the king size bed perfect. I put the protector on top.of.it and and then the fitted sheet. It looks like it's just a part of the mattress, the other topped made the bed look misshapen and it bothered me. It does sleep warmer than just the mattress but to me that's ok. I added a fan and changed from the winter thick comforter to a cotton coverlet. We now have issues with not wanting to get out of bed. My husband is usually not very impressed with things and he commented on how much he loved the bed. I wrote this review because I'm thinking about how comfortable it is and how many hours until I get to crawl back into bed and lay down. It is definitely firm and perfect if your mattress springs can be felt. I would not put it on top of a memory foam mattress if your goal.is to make it softer. My kids actually just got memory foam mattress and I cut the 2" fluffy topper and put it on theirs for it's softness. It's also extremely affordable for what you get. It doesn't slide around on the bed and doesn't make the sheets get messed up but that's probably because I thought ahead and got the sheet holders and protector. I love it. Edit: wanted to add a one year update. It's still amazing. It's hard for us to travel now because this topper makes our bed so comfortable. There are no rips, stains, color fading. It hasn't worn weird it's still the proper shape. There aren't any low spots from us sleeping on it. We have kept a mattress topper on top of it and I use sheet holders to keep the mattress protector and fitted sheet tight so they don't move around. Seriously, if you're looking for a really great topper that adds some support and cushion this one is perfect. I have nothing negative to say even after a year of use. 10/10 ... show more

I bought 12" queen bliss. This bed is really amazing. It was three years ago that I got to know the brand "Zinus". I think bed is really important. I sleep so much that I spend almost 12 hours a day on my bed on weekends. The beds I used before had a backache when I slept or lay down for a long time. It didn't feel like I slept refreshingly even when I woke up. My back hurt and I was just more tired. Since I first bought a Zinus bed three years ago, I have felt that the quality of my sleep has improved. I had a fascinating experience where my back didn't hurt at all even after sleeping for a long time. The experience continues to this day. I am very satisfied with the Zinus bed and using it. I was looking for a new bed when I moved out, and I saw a Zinus bliss memory foam bed on Amazon.(Actually I didn't even consider other bed brands. I recognized the Zinus bed unconditionally). I was a little worried because it was more expensive than the bed I bought before, but I still had a good memory of the bed that Zinus gave me, so I bought it right away. First of all, the bed is so fantastic. I wanted a relatively hard bed rather than a soft bed, but this bliss bed was perfect for my needs. It was divided into hard and soft parts, so I felt that it supported my body firmly. The bed I bought before was good, but the bliss bed I bought this time is really my dream bed. I'm a development engineer, but it's amazing how Zinus knew exactly what I needed and designed and developed a bed. I can feel the same sense of use when I lie in the center or edge of the bed, and it's also very resilient. Also, the cooling mat kept my body temperature low on hot summer nights, and the soft fabric covered my body comfortably throughout my sleep. Above all, I am very satisfied that my back does not hurt at all in the morning because the bed supports my back well when I wake up. Thanks to this bed, I can't wait to sleep. I have a pull-out ottoman that’s spacious but the mattress needs extra thickness. I bought and used two when my adult son came to visit over Thanksgiving. It was perfect for comfort, seems like it will last a long time, and best of all, it had no chemical smell at all when we removed the packaging.
