I love these chairs so much! We paired them with a midcentury Asian style burl wood dining table, and they look awesome. I’ve seen so many original vintage chairs like this on FB Marketplace, but it’s been difficult to find 8 of them still in good shape for a reasonable price. This option seemed like a no-brainer, and I’ve had several people ask me if these are vintage lol. We don’t use this formal dining room a ton, so I can’t speak to the comfort over hours of sitting, but they’re perfectly comfortable to sit in for a normal length of a meal. They were easy to put together, they are sturdy and stable, and they can support at least 220lbs w no problem. The velvet material should be a breeze to clean. All in all very happy w these!

Girl, listen. These chairs are EVERYTHING. I looked at more expensive sets, sets twice the price of these or more, and being the brave boi/broke boi I am, I went with these. I. Am. So. Pleased. I was absolutely expecting at this price point to have something flimsy but okay-looking, but these babies are SOLID and HANDSOME. Let me start with the care the seller put into packaging. I've included pictures so you can see. Not only was everything carefully wrapped to perfection, but the packer even left little loose-tied tails on the wrapping around the bases to assist in an easy unwind. I'm serious, those wrapping tails are worth it by themselves. SO thoughtful! Next: Ease of assembly. Bruh. Dude. There are 5 pieces for each chair and 4 bolts for the base and 4 bolts for the backrests. That's it. No Mensa-level mess over here. All the holes lined up perfectly on all 4 chairs I ordered; nothing was cross-threaded; everything was beautiful, and nothing hurt. My partner and I had 4 chairs put together in under 20 minutes. Quality. Here's the biggun. I was expecting Mainstays weight metal tubing for the legs and the backrests. Nah. The metal bases are THICC. They're hefty and weighty and powder-coated in something that makes any light scuff marks just disappear if you rub a finger over them. And the BACKRESTS ARE ALL WOOD. Nobody mentioned that in their reviews, so I was stunned. It's not a metal surround with some cheap plastic rattan. It's wood, baby. Wood surround. Wood rattan. I dunno how they made it so well for so cheap, but they found a freaking way. The seats are wiiiiiiiide for those winter thighs and the foam is dense and firm but still cushy as heck. I've been sitting on one of these chairs for half an hour writing this review, and my sciatica don't even care. I got the black velvet fabric, and to be fair, it ain't velvet. But it is the slickest microfiber I've ever laid my butt on. Top quality. Soft and pleasant with none of those foam-on-foam feels when you wiggle your clothed booty on it. So. I'm saying. Get these dang chairs.

I used the brown leather seating to go with my IKEA table and I am really pleased with the quality for these $85 chairs. The cane back provides a pop of color and the leather cushion is comfortable and will probably hold up against my cats. The cane back does not support my back, but I am taller than 6’ so you may be better suited. The height of these chairs are comfortable for me, but a bit high for my wife who is a foot shorter than I am. A notice is provided in the manual that the cane may have some defects, but I only experienced very mild fraying. I am over the chairs weight limit, but I did not feel like I was about to break the chair. I will make an edit if there are any future issues, but so far I am impressed with these chairs and intend to buy another set in a week or so. Update: The chairs have held up very well to daily use for the past several months. My wife complains that sometimes the seat sticks to the bottom of her thighs, but I haven’t had that issue. My cats lay on the seat when they are not in use, so they give their seal of approval. The only issue I have experienced is some difficulty when pulling the chairs out from under the table. Their weight distribution causes them to get caught on their back bar and there is not an ergonomic way to pull the seat out. People will leave the chairs pulled out because of the inconvenience which I didn’t see with my last set of chairs. This might not be an issue for you and is only a mild inconvenience. Overall I am very happy with the look of the chairs and I still believe they are comfy enough for daily use. I have received several compliments on how nice they look.

This evening my friend and I put together the six beautifully made dining chairs from Zesthouse. These chairs are so lovely and perfect! We had no problems with lining up the screws using the Allen wrench provided. Even though two of the boxes were damaged in transit, the parts inside were intact and well-packed. Initially I had some concerns because one of the boxes hadn't arrived with the other two, but when I contacted Amazon about my dilemma I received an almost immediate response from the vendor (through Amazon) that the third box was on its way, and it arrived the very next day. My friend and I were were both impressed with the quality of these chairs and the ease of assembling them. They are so lovely and I am very very happy that I purchased them!

I have this chairs for almost 6 months now, It's definitely worth the price! It’s beautiful and comfortable, the seat is very spacious, the rattan detail is very well made and it is easy to assemble. However, I do have to mention that it feels a little scratchy, and the backrest isn’t completely firm, it moves slightly from side to side.

Cute tables. Back support is okay but I feel like I could break it or fall if I leaned too far back. Definitely durable standing wise but again ^ Fine to put together by yourself but in annoyance sake it could be done with two people. Value could be cheaper for what you’re receiving.
