The rack itself is a solid, well-built piece of equipment, but the finishing touches leave a lot to be desired. Right out of the box, I ran into issues because the included hardware was incomplete—I was short a couple of nuts and washers, which meant an annoying trip to the hardware store before I could complete the install. My biggest complaint, however, is with the velcro straps. I run a commercial operation, which means I'm constantly hopping on and off the mower to trim. These straps are a major hassle because they aren't permanently attached to the rack. Every time you undo them to grab your trimmer, you have to worry about them falling off or getting lost. They work fine if you’re just going from point A to point B once a day, but for commercial work, they are inefficient and poorly thought out. If you buy this, plan on buying your own mounting hardware and potentially modifying the straps so they actually stay put. It’s a "fine" rack for the price, but it definitely needs these improvements to be truly professional-grade.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wished I had a rack on my zero turn to hold my string trimmer. I have one on my tractor loader backhoe, but it’s really for rakes and shovels, plus I’m not using that to cut the grass-so it’s not very helpful. When I saw this, from a brand I already know and trust, I knew it would be good! It’s still the middle of winter here in New England, but I had to put it on to do a proper review! Great quality, simple universal design, and a great tool overall! Very happy customer. This will make yard work a lot easier! Weld quality is good, straps and hardware are good, and instructions are simple and easy to follow. Easy to install and just as easy to use. Simple, effective, and extremely helpful. I have it on a Kubota zero turn, but with its U-bolt installation mount, it’s easy to see how adaptable it is to most zero turn applications with a roll bar. Worst case scenario, you could get U-bolts with longer studs, but the supplied hardware worked fine for me.
