As someone that does casual yard work. Stihl trimmer line is GREAT. It's a million times better than your cheap trimmer line you can buy at the local stores. The cheap trimmer line would constantly break off every 5 minutes and I would have to constantly readjust it. Plus the cheap trimmer line wasn't cutting very well. Stihl trimmer line is very strong and works perfect for my yard. Just to test it a little, I ran my weed wacker full throttle against my metal lamp post, concrete drive way, and some bricks. It didn't break at all. It also cuts great. I 100% recommend this line if you're also frustrated with the garbage cheap lines. ... show more

I love this trimmer line, I came highly recommend from my friend who works in landscaping. It's incredibly durable and handles well against chain link which is what I needed. The yellow line from stihl is also great but this one is better.

The Stihl trimmer line holds up better than any other I have used. It was more pricey than previous purchases of the same, but the refilling of the bump spool occurs less frequently. It’s a trade-off but worth it to me.
