    • Little patience and electric ratchet is all you need

When I first opened this I thought it was going to be a nightmare to assemble. I have an electric ratchet which REALLY helps the assembly, but overall it really isn't bad, can assemble the whole thing from the picture alone, didn't even need to read the instructions, there's a YouTube video from the Manufacturer too. You might need to get creative with how to mount it, there is an unimaginable amount of degrees of freedom, you'll spend most of your time messing with angles to get the right orientation for your mower but once you've got it just how you want it, you're good to go. I didn't need to make any modifications to my trimmer, works good and snug as-assembled. Just did my first cut and it wasn't bouncing around at all, very happy with it. ... show more

This is a great product. You may have to do a good deal of adjusting, which will still leave the right arm on your mower touching, but it still saves a lot of time. I think this is a great product made with good solid material.

This is the final item that I will ever purchase from jungle jims! I spent almost 45 minutes trying to put this thing together with a video instruction to no avail. Finally realized I had missing peices, numerous cuts to my hands, and to top it off, the darn bolts were stripped on the main connection to the mower. I finally slammed the darn thing and threw it out! I do not want a refund! I just want jungle jims items to NEVER SHOW UP on my feed when I'm shopping! Do not waste your money! ... show more

    • Mounting NIGHTMARE
I bought this rack for a Gravely proturn 452. The lack of adjustability makes mounting this piece to an angled ROP bar an absolute nightmare. If you mount it too low, the trimmer obstructs getting on and off the mower. Mount it too high and it sticks so far out the back of the machine that you have to be VERY careful working around trees, shrubs and other obstacles. I can't count how many times I've bent mine. Now, the straps....after only 2 months, the front strap broke and I had to resort to using a rubber strap to secure my trimmer. It would be far better if they used a padded latch type holder. Conclusion: Would I purchase again? YES! It's a very heavy duty built rack but it does need tweaking. I plan on welding it to my ROP bar thus removing the need to adjust it. ... show more

If you have large properties to mow and have the need to weed whack or run an edger on different parts of the property this is a must. You can mow up to the spot that needs trimmed and then continue mowing, no need to come back to trim.

This trimmer rack works really well. It mounted easily on my Gravely ZT HD with ROPS. I was able to shave off at least 30 minutes on my large 5 acre property because I wasn’t walking everywhere to move the trimmer. I like to trim as I go with a lot that big. Great value for the money.
