    • Filter is fine but obviously was someone else's return.
The air filter's pleated element itself is in new condition. It was a bit dissapointing however to find greasy finger smudges all around the rubber edges and sides from whoever returned it along with a handwritten note in the box saying it was too big for their car. I had thought to return it on principle myself, but decided to just install it since none of the finger smudges are seen once you close up the air box. I would encourage the supplier to do more due dilligence in quality assurance on their returns before they ship them back out. The filter fits properly in my 2021 Subaru Forrester and it's ready to roll. ... show more

I was happy. I received the filter right away, but sadly, I had to wait for better weather to install the filter. Which brings us to now my car is just now due for the tuneup and I went to install the filter. It’s about an eighth of an inch too large to fit into the air filter housing. I can’t return it because it’s past the return window and there’s nothing else for customer support in this case so I guess I’m out of the money. ... show more

Price was excellent and the installation went well. Subaru never makes it easy as far as providing space in the engine compartment but You Tube videos are good to clarify install. I would certainly buy again. Oh did I mention the $60 the dealer usually wants to charge for the exact same item.
