Yes I had trouble getting it started as other reviews have said , but hey it’s right from factory. Tried to start till I had it flooded. Let it sit and came back next morning and it started after a few pulls . Now that I have used it a few times it starts right up Now the performance of this wacker is second to none . Put the black diamond string on it and it takes on anything, I mows down 12” grass like nothing. Definitely recommend ... show more

I been using sting trimmers and brush saws since the early 80's. I've used cheap junk that was very unreliable, and high end expensive machines that made me swallow hard at the price. The one thing that stands out to me is that if you want a good reliable machine, your going to pay for it. The Echo 2620T is not an inexpensive trimmer but it is quality that will make the reliable long term use worth it. It's a little heavy but i find it balances well and the power is very good.I have Stihl and Husqvarna but find i reach for this Echo most of the time. ... show more

    • Very disappointed.
I have had this unit for two days and it will not start. $359 for what is considered a high end piece of equipment and it will not start. I would not recommend this trimmer or any Echo product.
