We had to tie a string and put my husbands work glove on it to let them know its okay for them to go on, but now they love it! I was worried my larger cat (10.7 pounds) wouldn't do good on it, but its doesnt even wobble when he's on it! I do love this cat tree. Super cute and not too big where it can fit in a corner nicely. However it is not meant for a cat. I have a year old cat and his a bit too big for it. This is meant more for a couple of kittens. But since I already built it, threw the box away and set it up, I'm just suck with it and maybe down the line like two years I will upgrade to something more big. First and fore most it's a bit smaller than expected. Castiel is less than year old, that's him in the pic. Install help; The Instructions are Good, not perfeft. However on the instructions the parts are all labeled. The parts themselves have no label....yes seriously. So open up ur box, lay everything out as shown in the instructions (same order) to ensure u know which part is which letter. Do the same with the screws. This will prevent headache. The 2 small screws are for the ramp, then that leaves u with 25 medium screws and 4 studs (large double sided screws with no head) Next find the 2 "box" portions that turn into hidey holes. Take the thinnest columns (there is 8) and preassembled the hideyholes. Thank me later. ... show more

The product was easy to assemble and the instructions were adequate (picture based). My 3 cats are definitely enjoying it for the last two months. The height is perfect as they can climb to the top and get onto the window sill when the window is open and look outside. A little cat-nip spray on the scratch poles and the balls will have them playing all day long. Considering a second one for the living room after remodeling this upcoming spring - hopefully to save the couch from being the main scratch post. ... show more

Couple of things: 1. Pictures are a bit misleading, our adult cats find it too compact on those pole set ups on top. Even our petite female, barely 8ish lbs finds it too compact. I removed those and combined a couple parts to make a second, lower spot. Maybe it'll just be for you storage lol. 2. Removing the poles on top doesn't effect anything, and makes a great spot for laying and looking out the window! It's tall and it's sturdy for sure. I may remove the "steps" too, they don't bear weight. 3. Instructions are awful, really confusing for no reason. The bags don't have numbers or letters so it's the picture matching game :/ 4. The ball on a string comes right off lmao. They still play with the string and ball separately though, so technically I have 2 toys for free? 5. Pro tip, lots of cats like flat cardboard scratchers, so if yours doesn't like the rough string stuff on the poles, get cardboard!! ... show more

I just received this cat tower and I put it together in 30 minutes with interruptions from family so the actual time is less. I am a craftsman and have built these towers before but this time I just don't have time so I bought this one for my up-and-coming Ragdoll Kitten. To me this size of cat tower is perfect however I know by the time my cat gets full grown I'll most likely then build another one much larger but for now, this is perfect and I couldn't build one like this and it carpet job for the same price and aggravation. Bravo to the workmen who built it and for the one who designed it, it is a gem in every respect. As for Amazon, despite all the negative press for me Amazon is the BEST for shopping and not have to leave my office chair. Fast service and great delivery personal. in all the years I have purchased items through them I have never had a problem and I almost paid for my new iPad Pro Ultamit totally with my cashback savings with Amazon. The media could not be loaded. The directions were somewhat easy to read. Eventually I just figured out which screws were which and what post was what because NOTHING was labeled like how the instructions were. Assembly took me about 20-40 minutes. It would've been less but I got stuck on the platform that goes under the last house. After building it though, it looked great! Its pretty sturdy and holds my cat just fine who weighs about 8-9 pounds and hes about 7 or 8 months old. He loves the tangling toy balls and likes to hide in the houses a lot and then come out and smack you lol! All in all, he loves it so I'm pretty proud of myself! I will say that if your cat is bigger than 10 pounds, this may be too small for them. But as I say at work, if it doesn't work out for you then you can always return it! ... show more

I purchase many cat trees from various sellers and resell after I assemble them. This is how I make ends meet. This Zeny product is the easiest to assemble. The instructions with pictures are simple and easy to follow. Zeny has minimal variety of parts too which is great. When I say minimal parts, other companies that have similar looking cat trees have so many different sized parts that it gets confusing and complicated. One company i bought from didn't even have the fabric attached to the boards...I had to assemble and it was very labor intense for about the same price as Zeny. Another company I bought from the parts were so flimsy after assembling 2 cat trees that I had to take both apart and send back. What a hassle. The Zeny brand is truly the best value for the money! I just purchased 10 more to resell. Thats how great they are. I highly recommend. Definitely the best for the money! ... show more
