The title for the light fixture says it all! My Teen daughter wanted to replace the old fashioned “nipple” or dome glass light fixture with something more her style. She would send me snaps of different and very unique strangle lighting fixtures from Pinterest. Some of the pins would take me to Etsy and the light without bulbs would be starting at $100! So we agreed on this pipe pattern and ordered it. The fixture arrives and thick cardboard box and it 95 percent assembled. The only steps we had to do was put up the bracket and twist all the black / white wires together. We ordered black small e26 led dimmable bulbs to give it a goth club look. The price was right for what I needed I have 7' ceilings and it doesn't stick out from the ceiling very far and it still provides a lot of light. It is difficult to splice this the wires from each individual light together to your main wires. I ended up splicing 3 sets of wires together and using extra wiring. Do not try to hang it above your head by yourself unless you were super coordinated it is awkward and unbalanced. It really needs an extra set of hands. All that said I love it. ... show more

I love this fixture but one of the arms is not providing any current. did the wiring twice and no doubt. I actually ordered another because I really like it. I will update when I install it in 3 days. darn it!! UPDATE I did not pull out the 2 wires in one of the arms. Once I realized that it was very easy to install. I absolutely love the light! This was a great addition to our kitchen. We wanted more light, and it certainly provides that. The wiring was a little bit of a chore, at least for someone who doesn't know wiring, but it was pretty simple. Probably best to have 2 people to mount it to the ceiling, and I do wish they would have included a 4 screw binding system, as the 2 screw system allows it to hang lopsided if everything else in the install isn't perfect. But overall, with 6X 1100 lumen LED lights installed, it brightens our rather large kitchen right up. ... show more

I was nervous because the other reviews said difficult to install. I have never installed a light in my life before, and this was so easy. I did it all by myself, the only difficult part is that I was short and didn’t have a ladder. I put some smart, LED color changing bulbs in and am very pleased!

I've been scoring the internet/stores to find some replacement lights for our kitchen and hallways. These lights are a great option for where you have previous flush mounted lighting. All stays close to the ceiling, but doesn't look like your typical flush light. Installation is a bit tricky, but you do get to decide where the arms go based on your space. each arm comes individually wrapped and it packaged well. No damage. You have to attache each arm with a bolt and washer. You may need a wrench as it's hard to get your fingers in the tight space. Wiring was a bit of a challenge for me. I was adding this to a space with a three-way switch. You have to connect the wires FROM ALL OF THE ARMS to the wires in the mount. It's bulky, but I got it to fit. Alright y'all. This light is incredibly cute, but "easy to install" is absolutely not true. Each of these light arms has their own white and black wire that needs to be connected directly to the wires in your home. There is no splice to a single wire. In addition, the threaded bolt that comes with this is incredibly, INCREDIBLY short. I ended up getting new ones that came with a lock washer that made installation significantly easier. However, this light is great for the cost. It looks amazing in our kitchen and gives off a ton of light. I would never want to install them again, but I love them now that they're up. Update: it's been pointed out several times that it looks like a swastika. We have to adjust the arms to mitigate this. Pay attention before you hang it up. ... show more

This light came in a box that was suspiciously small. It turns out that the light is actually an erector set that you build a light out of. The wiring is a ridiculous set up. You have to fit 8 wires, plus the wire that you are hooking it up to into one wire nut. The light looks awesome, but I will certainly hesitate to buy another due to the assembly and hook up process. ... show more
