I came across these about 5 yrs ago, and today, IT IS STILL my FAVORITE writing pen ever. Everyone who tries it, just loves it. It's followed with big eyes and they say: ..."oh smooth". Yep. It is perfect. Super nice, super smooth. Never skips, doesn't bleed, nice bold lines (choice of refill sizes). Love it, love it, love it. Makes a perfect inexpensive gift too (put in a pretty box and throw in some refills). I've given about 6 of these as gifts, it's always practical and every recipient loves it. I recently purchased two Zebra pens, one for myself and one for my wife, and I must say, they have exceeded my expectations. Having used cheaper Zebra pens for many years, I was pleasantly surprised by the smoothness and quality of these pens. I specifically bought them for signing important documents, as I've read that their ink is difficult to alter, making them ideal for checks and security. One thing to note is that these pens are slightly on the heavy side, especially for women, in comparison to my beloved Parker pens. They are also a tad longer. However, the writing experience with the Zebra pen is exceptional. It glides effortlessly on paper, and there's no smudging whatsoever. When it comes to writing comfort, these pens truly shine. Overall, I'd rate them four out of five stars, mainly due to their weight and material quality. However, their design is attractive, and the writing quality is top-notch. If I had to make the choice again, I'd still opt for these Zebra pens. I wanted a nice pen, so I got this one. Very nice. Feels solid, the ink is nice and dark and I think it's a good looking pen as well. The Sarasa Grands with the silver clips are 0.7 and the ones with gold clips are 0.5. Thanks to the review here on Amazon that cleared that up. I have also used energel refills in this pen too. They work great. But the sarasa ink is also great. So if you want a nice, solid pen at a great price, this one is hard to beat. ... show more

I have yet to find a pen that writes as smoothly as this Zebra Sarasa Grand Gel Ink Pen. The gel ink comes out dark and heavy, dries quickly, and looks amazingly glossy. I have yet to experience any smudging with this pen! The barrel comes in many different colors, and so far, the white, turquoise, and rose gold I have purchased look sleek and professional. One of the most unique features of this pen is the easy push clip that makes attaching the pen super convenient! The only drawback I can mention is that this pen does seem to lose its ink quickly or at least it seems that way, because it stops writing as smoothly and with as thick of an ink deposit much sooner than expected. For that reason alone, I think the cost of the pen could be lower to reflect its longevity of use. Regardless, I have already bought 3 of these Zebra Sarasa Grands and will buy more. Definitely recommend for pen lovers out there! ... show more
