I use these to mold extra dimension on cardstock embellishments that I use on my handmade greeting cards. The metal tips are very smooth & great for this purpose. There are tools made specifically for that, but these are cheaper & have more sizes in the set.

I’m not a metallurgist, so I can’t test these to see if they are ‘solid SS’ or not, but they are heavy and balanced feeling in my hand. The largest stylus set (dark blue handles) are very substantial feeling, and have a nice rubbery/silicone feeling shaft. The light blue colored set is more lightweight and has a smooth plastic feeling shaft. The zippered bag is lined canvas with a nylon zipper, and is nice to have to keep these tools together. I bought them mainly for papercrafts, but the silicone tips on the small set would work great for my polymer clay as well as the balls should I choose to use them in that manner. I could not find anything but the most basic stylus in my area, and one being the cost of this entire set. Im thrilled to be able to have this set at such a low cost, and amazon got them to me in about 36 hours. If you are a crafting tool snob they may not be good enough for you, but they meet my needs in every way! I did not want to spend $30 for what is essentially a mouse pad, with a tool handle that had the ends that interchanged, bc I would much rather pick up a tool that is ‘ready to go’, and save some of my money to boot. ... show more
