Unit arrived with one of the hose attachment tabs bent in a way that made me nervous to try to force it. Reached out to customer support and they replied withing 10 minutes. After a couple back-and-forth emails, I felt confident I could pry that tab just enough to fit the hose, and it did work. Full marks for customer service. Seriously. I cannot believe the level of customer service I received. Pros Unit itself is surprisingly quiet, straightforward to use, and cools a 650+ sqft area quite nicely with the help of a cheap box fan to circulate some air through a smaller doorway. I've also used the dehumidifying function and that seems to work pretty well, dropping the humidity from 61% to 50% over the course of the day, but I will probably get an additional dedicated one to supplement. Being in the swampy Midwest, I made sure I had the drain line going into a 5 gallon bucket. Nothing too crazy has happened, but I have found about a gallon after waking up in the mornings a few times so far. That room is the most comfortable room in the house now. Cons Like others have mentioned, the included remote is rather disappointing. It's very hit or miss (often missing from a distance greater than a few feet), so don't be shocked about that. The hose attachment points at the window panel don't seal exceptionally well. I can feel the hot air hose leaking back into the house when I put my hand there. I will probably seal it with some tape or fashion a cap one of these days. I also had a GFI outlet in the same circuit that I plugged the unit into and it kept tripping that GFI, which cut power to all the outlets. I'm not quite sure why this is, the unit only draws about 6 amps while running the compressor. Changing that outlet to a regular one fixed that problem. Conclusion I've only had the unit for a week or so, but so far so good. It's a little pricey for some of the flaws, but at the end of the day it does what I need well enough. If this thing ends up being reliable throughout the year, especially during some of the 100+ days, I wouldn't hesitate to pick up another one next year for one of the other upstairs rooms.

This dual hose inverter portable air conditioner hits all the marks when it comes to performance. I have about 500 sq ft of space to cover which includes the bedroom, ensuite and walkin closet. This a/c cools the space in an hour and I even use it to supplement the cooling temperature outside the room by leaving the door a quarter open. It sounds good when it starts, unlike other units that make loud noises like it's about to take off. Once it hits the target temperature and is stable for a few minutes, it starts to quiet down and even pauses, then runs again as needed to maintain the set temperature. I think that is really efficient! It's not bad at all to have in the bedroom. It's sleep mode even makes it really quiet around 40-42db. I tried one of the single hose pa/c before this, and while that does the job too, I couldn't bear the loud noise. It can affect sleep quality unless you get really use to the noise. I never did. What I also like about this unit is the mobile app. You can schedule different temperature settings just as you would an HVAC although not seamlessly. You get to check the temperature in the room with the app and even do it remotely so you can manage your temperature target accordingly if you are being conscious about electricity consumption, and want to know what temperature to expect when you arrive. There are some kinks though. When the unit is triggered by the app, the active light indicator always turns on, which I think looks cool. You could not turn it off using the app however; you will have to use the remote device first for that. And from there, the lights can be controlled by the app going forward. I was told, they will fix this sooner or later. But no biggy. And by the way, the support is quick and prompt. So overall, I do think this 14000 dual hose inverter deserves five stars. It is a keeper!

I’m really happy with this portable AC unit. The cooling power is excellent — it cools the room quickly and keeps the temperature stable without constantly cycling loudly on and off. The dual-hose design feels much more efficient than older portable ACs I’ve used, and the inverter compressor makes a noticeable difference. Setup was straightforward with the included window kit, and the remote/app control is very convenient. I especially like being able to turn it on before I get home so the room is already cool. It’s also surprisingly quiet for how powerful it is, especially in sleep mode. The unit is a bit heavy, but once it’s in place the wheels make it easy to move around. Overall, this is a strong, well-designed portable AC with great cooling performance, quiet operation, and useful smart features. Definitely worth it for summer.

We live in an area that is prone to hurricanes. We wanted a portable AC that was large but also efficient to be able to run on a generator. This being an inverter generator means that it ramps up slowly and doesn't surge. This is much better for a generator. It also slows down and uses less amps when it gets close to the temp which also helps with the generator. We used it a couple of times after getting it to try it out and it works great. It blows really cold and cooled our room fast. It is also feature packed. The app is surprisingly very good. It has all the settings well laid out and easy to find. This is a great unit for the price and exactly what we were looking for.

This portable AC unit looks very sleek and modern, and overall I’m happy with its performance. The cooling is effective, the air gets cold quickly, and the noise level is relatively low compared to other portable AC units, which makes it comfortable to use even in a bedroom. I also really like the app control feature. Being able to adjust settings remotely is very convenient and adds to the overall user experience. However, the main issue I ran into is with the window panel. It feels too thin and narrow for my window setup, making it difficult to create a tight seal. Even after installation, there are still gaps between the panel and the window, which can reduce cooling efficiency and let warm air in.

This portable AC system 16,000 BTU is well made looks good and works well. But it dose lack the ability of stronger fan speed. The difference between the 3 fan speeds (1,2,3) are minimal at best. And the actual air temperature is not actually accurate. It is off by 3 or 4 degrees. I have over 500 square feet and it took 4 or 5 hrs at maximum cooling to drop it from 75 to 72 degrees don’t expect to get big chill out of this unit but it does gradually decrease the room temperature. The compressor does not click on and but will instead reduce power to the compressor to regulate the temperature and airflow the only time you will hear the compressor come on is at startup. It is quite but even quieter when the compressor goes into low power. The connection to the unit is easy. But the window panel connection is not as easy as it seems. You have several panels and depending on the size of the window you have to match the correct size panels. The instructions book gives good instructions on what panels go for what size window. The worst part is is the app. Connecting is tricky. The Bluetooth connection is completely useless and the wife connection is easier but tricky to get to. Sharing the app was even worse. No instructions what so ever anywhere. I had to figure it out myself. First everyone has to download the app and register your own account. But the main account holder has to make the account first then share it to the other account holder. It’s tricky. You have 3 ways to control the unit. The app , hand control and the unit control panel. It came very will packaged and all parts and accessories came will packaged together. It’s easy to move around with 4 wheels on the bottom. It looks great but dose take up space and you need at least 17 inches away from the wall for airflow around it. I took one star away for the above reason but it is a good option for cooling down the room if you can’t lift heavy AC widow AC’s. You can bring it room to room but then you have to play with those window panels if your windows aren’t all the same size. But over all it’s a 9 out of 10. My advice get the 12,000 btu you will probably get the same result and save a $100. This review was based on my experience and my room size. Results can very on a small area. But I do think it’s still a better value and bang for your buck then other portable or window AC units. Good luck choose wisely.

The Zafro AC unit has exceeded my expectations by a wide margin. It cools as promised, cooling a larger room than advertised in very little time, and it is amazingly quiet. Installation was simple and the included parts were higher quality and easier to use than any other portable AC unit that I have used (and this is number 5). Highly recommended. It is definitely worth the slight extra cost to go for a dual hose inverter unit, and this company has nailed it. Buy it - you will be glad you did.
