Was shipped on time with appropriate safe packaging. ( I still tilted unit to unpack so I waited the suggested 2 days to settle the fluids before initiated use) All 3 settings have run efficiently as hoped for. Air conditioner brought the 10 X 14 room from 80 to 62 degrees F. In less than 2 hours. Fan setting is nice to aerate room when moderate temperatures outside. The dehumidifier worked on less hot days since location is 3 miles from the Sea and gets humidity. I attached the hose to a one gallon bucket and emptied about 1-2 cups of water after running all day/night. For installation I used the panel components vertically with weather- stripping and it looked neat and worked well.( was able to install with windows screen in place) I also used a window security screw which only allows window to slide open only so far( the width of enclosed exiting hose /panel) I allowed close to 2 feet distance between window and Unit. ( secured it like a water heater to prevent falls) There's discussion on pros and cons of collapsing venting hose to a shorter distance and having Unit closer to window to decrease less warm air escaping via vent hose and seeping back into room one is cooling. I went with the Instructions and like the Unit about to 2-3 feet into the room space and it is successful in maintaining low temperature so far. Am loving the remote control while in bed, although have not used all the variations yet. White noise is acceptable to me, or when cool enough I shut it off for the night.( settings for that, too) I'm glad I could set it up by myself( a senior woman with " not just a pretty face!") Weight of Unit is ok, rolling castors are effective. I really did well in purchasing this unit. I don't need it every month, but does the job when it's too hot.

Great cooling, and not overly loud. You do have to keep an eye out for the tank that the water drains into. I've had mine for about 3 years and still great performance.

This was one of the more affordable options available when I was searching for a stand alone air conditioning unit so I was a little skeptical. But it showed up in a timely manner and in great working condition. This unit cooled off my office with ease, it’s very user friendly and didn’t take much effort to cool off a room heated by multiple PCs. It’s a little noisy and produces quite a bit of condensation but it did not run 24/7.

This portable air conditioner is alright. It overall works well, blows cold air, comes with the window adapter part which is still feasible to assemble. It's just the air duct or pipe that's a bit hard to connect most of the times and falls off easily. So you always have to try to figure out a good way to keep it attached somehow. It's made me plastic and is elastic, which makes it hard to stay on. That and the water pipe which fills up pretty quick too, so you have to watch out for that from time to time before it overflows. Should get a big bucket for it. Otherwise it works well overall.

Got this smaller 8000btu unit to cool down my office without needing the main air on. Also the nice part is since its a bit smaller, my battery bank can run this at around 750W and not need my larger bank to power. Has all the normal AC modes you would expect and blows cold. Temp gun up deep in it i can get 50 degrees out of it. For the price its a good value and is backed by an actual company vs buying at a Lowes or Home Depot with sketchy warranty. Great for small rooms as described.

I’ve had these units over a year. I purchased 2 when our ac went out and couldn’t afford a new one. They work just fine. I use it close to everyday being upstairs it gets hotter. They’re not ran 24 hours a day but at least 10 hours. Other than a super teeny hose for the water drainage i have no complaints. Both work fine and do the job.

I bought this unit for my son's bedroom which measures 10'x10', followed all installation instructions (pretty straightforward and hard to screw up), and attempted to cool his room. The unit has never cooled his room down more than 5 degrees over the course of the summer, and when outdoor temps are reaching 100, that puts inside temps around an unbearable 95 degrees. I've tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions and even tested it out in my other son's room, which is even smaller, still with no success. It seems to be removing hot air as the filter gets dirty and the exhaust pipe is warm, and it blows cool-ish air, but the room never cools down. My only conclusion based on other reviews is that we got a faulty machine, but as the return window has closed, we are stuck with a useless AC. Super disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. Works well and easy setup. However, I'm solely using it for my bedroom at night, and so sound is very important to me. There's a rattling/hissing noise behind the sound of the motor for my particular unit that makes sleeping with it on difficult for me (see video). My boyfriend doesn't mind it so maybe I'm just more sensitive to it. I'll just wear earplugs to sleep with it on -- anything to not be hot. Still a good value and product. ***** EDIT - Updating to 5 stars as the vendor reached out and worked with me to make sure I was satisfied. Great customer service
