For years I had one of those hulking immersion blenders, just for the simple task of mixing protein powder into milk in a regular drinking glass. The device finally quit, so I started looking for another immersion blender. All of the current models had blender heads at least 2.5" in diameter, so they were too wide for the drinking glasses. And I wanted to blend the protein powder directly inside of the drinking glass. So I started looking into milk frothers. The first frothers I looked into all used AA batteries. I saw from the reviews that this was an issue, because the batteries had to be replace fairly frequently. Additionally, all of these frothers that I looked into had only one speed. I was about to give up, but decided to look into the rechargeable frothers. I found the YUSWKO device, and started reading the reviews and looking at the videos. The reviews would talk about how you had to be careful because even at low speed, the frother was really powerful. But otherwise the reviews were very positive about the device. And the videos were all very encouraging. So I got the device yesterday, and immediately charged it up until the green light turned on, and then my wife tried it out first. She was able to use it with whipping cream, and made whipped cream in one minute, just like in one of the videos. And then this morning I tried it for the first time with the protein powder, being extra careful because of some of the reviews. I had the drinking glass down in the sink as advised. I then tried it on low speed with the hook attachment. Whoever thinks the low speed is super powerful has never stuck an immersion blender into a drinking glass! The low speed is actually a low speed, and is perfect for blending protein powder, which blends easily. So use the hook attachment and low speed, and I assure you that it won't spray liquid all over the place! Lastly, I like the fact that with the hook attachment, after inserting the attachment, the rod is long enough so that I don't have to immerse any portion of the main device into the drinking glass. I also purchased the version with a stand, which I think is a better solution from a drying perspective. Another one of the little things in life that makes a difference! A great little device, well worth the money!

The YUSWKO electric milk frother works as advertised. I replaced an older, less powerful, single-speed electric milk frother with this one and have been pleased with its performance. I've used it to froth milk, whip cream, mix hot cocoa, emulsify salad dressings, beat eggs, and prepare small-batch sauces. It's easy to swap out the mixing wands, though there is a bit of alignment you have to do to push a wand into the motorized handle. This frother is powerful for such a small, handheld device. Of the three speeds, I still haven't had to use the High speed to get my work done. The battery also seems to have a relatively long life, as I haven't had to recharge the frother since purchasing it a few months ago and it still indicates a high amount of charge remaining. One caution is that the slowest speed still results in vigorous frothing and emulsifying. Even on Slow, the frother will spin your liquid out of your container if you don't plan ahead and use a large-enough container. For example, when frothing a half-cup of milk, my one-cup Pyrex measuring cup just barely keeps the milk in the vessel. I generally use a vessel that is at least double the liquid volume. Also, if I'm simply trying to mix a liquid without frothing it, such as when mixing cocoa powder into warm milk, I find that I have to pinch the stem of the mixing or frothing wand to slow down and control the speed. I think a fourth speed that is about half the speed of the current "Slow" speed would be a great improvement to this kitchen gadget.

I was mixing some protein powder in a 16 ounce glass. Learned very quickly on the first try that the eight blade prop stirring attachment was way too much even at lower speeds. The mixture came up over the top of the glass and made a mess before I could shut it down. Worked a lot better with some of the less intensive stirring attachments. I highly suggest on the first try being very observant and be ready to push the button before disaster happens. Better yet do it in the sink. When you get past your first experience you will soon find that for mixing things in glasses with the right prop and the right speed, it is very thorough in just a few seconds and much more effective than using a teaspoon. I love it! Also I like the fact that you don't have to feed it batteries and you can charge it using the USB cable provided or your phone charger.

This is a great tool to have in your kitchen! I use it for my coffee and when I’m making a quick sauce and I want to make sure the ingredients are all mixed well. It doesn’t need batteries, it is charged by using a usb. I keep it next to my keurig.

Overall this product is a great value. I like that it came with a stand and multiple attachments. I do suggest using it in a tall container to avoid it splashing and making a mess. Even on the lowest speed it's pretty fast, but it does a good job. My only complaint is that the battery does not last very long. You might get a couple of minutes max at fully charged.
