The media could not be loaded. These are a lot of fun to customize in the app! They were easy to install and are surprisingly large. I connected two sets together with one controller and it is the perfect addition to my space. The default brightness is a little much for me, but you can customize it. It came with enough adhesive pieces to install two sets, so I have extra just in case it starts to loosen, but it feels very secure on the wall and should stay as long as you follow the instructions and make sure the surface is clean. These lights look absolutely amazing for the price! They are very easy to assemble too. Although I did used additional adhesive to make sure they stayed in place. Listen, you want cool lights get these they looked fantastic. A day later they fell right off the wall. The adhesive seemed super strong too and I pressed hard to make sure it wouldn't fall. Now the lights are broken and I'm down 90 bucks.

    • Almost professionally cool. Almost.
For a cooler than average LED effect light, this set of beams and hexagons is priced about right. If it weren't for one small feature that it lacks, it would even be potentially commercial grade. Out of the box, these lights are very configurable, and a lot of fun to play around with. The remote offers a lot of different options for color combinations, patterns, and motion that will keep you busy for quite a while figuring out just which one you like best. And for the more technically inclined, the associated app offers a great deal more customization than I expected, allowing for the creation of fairly complex custom patterns - so much so that it approaches the kind of specificity that far more expensive, professional-grade, DMX-controlled lights can boast. It's a SHAME, then, that there's one little bit of the hardware that holds it all back... That bottleneck is the "revert to default state after power loss" characteristic. To elaborate, my paradigm is that of a laser tag operator; I need FX lights that will automatically resume doing their thing after a power outage. If I have 50 different pieces of hardware that my employees have to be trained to manually activate IF they happen to notice that the usual lights aren't working (which will NEVER happen), I may as well have no FX in there at all. Actually, it's possible there's a second bottleneck. The power supply is rated for 3 Amps. That makes it unlikely you could daisy chain multiple sets without experiencing dimming and/or flicker near the end opposite the power connection. So, as cool as this kit is, it will have to remain a piece of residential light art. ... show more
