I use these when I have extra berries or bananas that won't get eaten in time and toss them in a blender with a couple ice cubes and some milk or almond milk, to do a quick blend then pour into the containers and pop in the freezer. Within a couple hours, they are great to pull out and enjoy homemade healthier version of ice cream or whatever you choose to use them for. They wash up in the dishwasher great and hold items in the freezer perfectly tightly sealed for at least a month, as I haven't had one in there longer than that at this point. I got these just to be ice cream storage containers. I make my own dairy-free ice cream, and these are so great! I use a whole can of coconut milk for my recipes, and I have to eat some before I put it in the container, or it won't fit. These containers are very thick and they are compact so they don't take up much room in the freezer. The lids are heavy duty and are secure when on. I haven't had any issue with freezer burn, although we eat the ice cream within a couple of weeks, usually. They are stackable and have different colored lids so I don't have to label to know which is which. ... show more
