I’ve had a few of these, but I’ve chipped the edges of every one! (That’s on me, not the product.) I’d been purchasing a set of three sizes, but I use this most often. I finally found it, not as part of a set, and for a price I liked. This dish is perfect for making a double batch of a casserole and freezing half. (I’ve used it for lasagna, but the tapered sides are less than ideal.) I use a layer of plastic wrap on top of the cooled food to prevent ice crystals, then seal it with the lid. Sometimes I’ll use masking tape to write the heating instructions on the lid, even if it’s just a reminder to remove the plastic wrap before baking! I bought one of these in February and I just bought another because the first one’s always in use. They are just the right size for something I have just cooked. I can cut up an entire Costco chicken and it fits in here. Can take something out of my instant pot and after we eat dinner, the leftovers fit in here. I’d like that they stack so well and they seem pretty sturdy. The lid fits well. I have not stored anything liquid in them so I don’t know how well it holds liquids. ... show more

While the item is sturdy, the use would dictate how great the item is. For example, I got this container to meal prep meals such as goulash, and the lid is quite soft and holds oils from food. This is always a concept when past hits plastic, but more so with this lid than other items I've used in the past. Overall, the package is sturdy and I would buy it again, but to be used not with pasta. The lid itself is also quite soft and I do not forsee it lasting more than a year, whilst the container could last easily over a decade. ... show more
