These containers are way ahead of any others I've had! The way they're designed there's very little stress on the seals or the fastening levers, so I expect them to last very well. There's also no friction/sliding on the seals like many other designs, so again, should be little to no wear. The bodies are thick heavy glass and I've already banged them together a few times with no chipping. They seem to seal very well and food has stayed good in them for some very respectable times - I haven't had anything go bad in them yet. So why only 4 stars? Technically, I think these are worth 5 stars for how well they work and how well designed they are, but there is one nit to pick - the tops are not dishwasher safe. A small thing, but I hope by subtracting a star maybe they'll make some with lids that can go in the dishwasher. Just that little bit more of convenience and I'd buy another set even though I don't need them! ... show more

These arrived quickly and were well packaged, with everything intact. The containers are high quality, easy to clean, and simple to store, with a great variety included. My only minor concern is that many of the containers are on the smaller side. For a family of five, I’d personally use more of the larger sizes. That said, this set has been an excellent starting point for transitioning from plastic to glass, and I’d definitely purchase additional, larger containers to complement it. ... show more

These glass containers are an enormous improvement over the miscellaneous plastic storage containers that had accumulated in my kitchen. The tops click on easily, they stack really nicely, and the contents are visible. They come out of the dishwasher looking like new.
