Description

Step 1: Power on the console. Step 2: Open the back cover of remote controller, then put into two new AA batteries. You will find a small red SYNC button beside the battery slot. Press SYNC button, FOUR lights (the Player LED) on the controller will flash. Step 3: Open the SD slot on the console, you will find a red SYNC button next to the SD slot. Then press this SYNC button. Step 4: Wait for a few seconds, the Player LED on the controller will stop flashing and light up when paring is complete. The Player LED indicates the player number of the controller currently in use.

We bought these in 2024. 2 worked good. The other 2 were difficult to use with the sensor for mario kart wii. We only bought them to play Mario kart with our kids. We only play 2 to 3 hours every month. It is now 2026 and all remotes, including the matching nunchucks, have stopped working. Ultimately I would advise anyone who is looking to purchase remotes to avoid these at all costs. They are made with cheap parts and will only last about 2 years. Try to look for gently used ones on facebook marketplace or ebay. Make sure you buy the authentic wii brand. Not a knock off. Lesson learned! ... show more

I bought these together with the used Wii I purchased (in Mexico) and they shipped and made it just fine to Mexico. I decided to get the Wii to keep the kids entertained during the pandemic and it was a great investment. The used Wii I bought came with one original controller and one original Nunchuk. These controllers have worked great so far, though not as high-quality as the OEM controller, they sync and work just fine. The drawbacks I've noticed: the white controller doesn't work very well (seems to be a lemon, the other 3 work fine) the numbers on the buttons wear off quickly (not a deal breaker) the numbers on the blue controller stick after not a lot of use (one of my kids loves playing Super Smash Bros which is a button-masher of a game.. this controller couldn't handle too much of that). I had purchased these several months ago for my kids to play the WII. We just opened them and tried to connect them to the WII so my kids could play Mario Kart and they DON'T even CONNECT to the system. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY on these. now it's to late for me to get a refund.

They do control the game but they are a bit difficult to get connected to system and to keep them connected. The shake sensor, (for Super Mario bros. Wii edition) is so sensitive that pushing other buttons often makes you spin jump at very inopportune times.
