    • Got my generator running right again.
My Briggs & Stratton EXL8000 generator came equipped with one of the infamous Nikki carburetors, and I don't know what it is about those things, but they just don't seem to hold up well over time. No amount of cleaning and rebuilding with new internal parts seemed to help. Finally decided to try this one, and it worked like a charm. Exact match for the old carburetor in terms of linkages, choke arm, and orientation of the fuel inlet tube. Also nice that the kit includes fuel filters (2!), gaskets, a short piece of tubing, shut off valve, and clamps. Ended up using most of these extra parts. During the process of installing everything, I was also very surprised to discover this generator did not have a fuel filter from "the factory". I had thought there must be one inside the fuel tank, as part of the fuel petcock, but it turns out not. Well...it has a filter now! ... show more

    • Works perfectly first time on my Generac GN410 engine
My particular application was for a Generac 7550 EXL generator, model 1470, with a 407cc GN410 engine. This engine originally came with an Nikki A4600 carburetor (2" bowl). I easily installed the new Yooppa 0A4600 Carburetor and it fired up first thing. Only slight adjustments were made for idle speed and mix. You can't get better than that!     • Pretty good carb
I used this to fix the carb on a GP7000E Generac portable. This fits the 410 style engine which is the single cylinder that has an oil filter. The fuel barb sticking out the side directly hits the shroud. Not by a whole lot but the rubber line won't go on. So you have to simple the metal shroud to get this to bolt down tight and still be able to get the line on. Not critical but make sure you have something big enough to whack it hard.     • My generator cranked right up
I bought this to replace an original A4600 on a Generac 7550 EXL generator. I could have rebuilt the original, but the price of this entire unit isn't much more than a rebuild kit, and a lot less work. Looks and fits just like the OEM part. The only challenge was that the angle of the fuel inlet wasn't the same as the original and it was preventing installation. I was able to rotate the inlet about 30° and everything fit just fine. Worked well for my Generac XG7000E. I did have to drill out a rivet and transfer a small bracket for the choke cable to connect correctly. The quality is also less than Generac but hey, my generator runs great and saves money compared OEM pricing. I am very happy. The gaskets, valve, fuel line, and fuel filter also are nice. My old fuel shut off valve leaked when I turned it for the first time since hurricane Harvey...very glad to have the new one. ... show more
