Pool cove will help prevent excessive stretching and premature wearing, adding years to the life of your new liner. Peel & Stick pool cove has an adhesive backing for quick, easy installation. Available in 48" lengths. Why density matters in pool cove: Water pressure on the cove is directly proportional to the depth of the water. The deeper the water, the more pressure on the cove. The higher the density, the lower the amount of air in the cove. Air will compress over time, resin won't. If the cove flattens over time, the liner will become stressed and possibly even pull on the wall structure. Economy is rated 1. 6 pounds per cubic foot. Economy pool cove is available in 48" lengths and offers peel & stick convenience. Available in multi-packs. Blue Wave NL1973 Gorilla Guard Above Ground Closed Cell Pool Wall Foam, 1/8" x 48" x 100', White Instantly create a smooth, soft padded wall surface barrier between your pool wall and pool liner. The gorilla guard closed-cell 1/8-in thick high-density wall foam provides excellent protection between your pool liner and the pool wall. In addition, it acts as an insulator improving your pool's ability to retain heat. This foam extends the life of your pool and pool liner by providing extra protection from rust, corrosion and other wall deterioration that may damage your pool or pool liner. Requires spray adhesive for easy installation (not included).

What a product! With someone else helping, these were installed in my 24' above ground in less than 5 minutes - that's not an exaggeration. I have done a few pool liners over the years. I'll never do another without this product. Far superior to a sand cove, and super consistent. It made for a great finish for my latest install. What I liked best was knowing for sure my sand floor is flat, because I could see it meet the wall instead of burying that intersection with sand and hoping it was right. Pro tip: Peel the adhesive backer about 6", and fold the backer piece straight up, press the cove into the corner, keeping the cove tight to the floor and the pool wall with one hand, pull up on the backer with the other. Do this about every 12 inches as you go, and you will install every piece perfectly and quickly. The backer is super sticky, you don't want to have to reposition if you don't have to. If you have a 24' round pool, buy the 24' round kit. I read several reviews about this coming up short and was worried. I have a 24' round pool and I ended up with an extra 1.5 feet. I imagine oval pools could be an issue though, so pay attention to reviews specific to the pool size and type you have. ... show more

I have put up a few pools over the years, and always used the sand for the cove. This time I used these and they are so much easier! They are also cheaper to buy than buying more sand for the cove. Saved me about $100 and a lot of work. Would definitely recommend these. I bought the cover for a 24 foot pool, it said it would have 19 in the box and all 19 were in it. Adhesive was very strong.. Quick delivery and there were 19 in the box of 19. Great adhesion to my pool wall and easy to install. Beats the heck out of making a sand cove. Time will tell if they will hold up to the pressure though... I have high hopes.

This works perfectly - saved a mess as I didn’t have to use sand to make the cove. The glue is just sticky to be able to be moved but hangs on when you’re done.

If you have a beveled or wavey pool wall, you will need extra adhesive or tape as shown. Even though I had to use extra, I loved the design and effect/support. Worked great on straight and rounded ends. Would buy it again. I used spray adhesive with some duct tape to hold it in place. Again, this was my choice. ... show more
