This has been a great wider MFT lens. AF is quick and responsive, accurate as anything else. I was using a 19 before as my wide, but this is ever so sightly wider and gives just that little extra and it really does make a difference. A little cheap feeling construction wise, but that's the tradeoff for this price point.

When I first got my hands on this lens, I was a little offput by the weight. It's weighs next to nothing or so it seems. It's mostly plastic and is no frills. It has a focus ring and a AF/MF switch. That's it. Despite the basic build and light weight, it performs surprisingly well. Images are sharp, the boken effect is a pleasing transition from focus area to blur, no much glare. What's not so great? First, F1.7 does get some chromatic aberration. Fixable though in post. Second, the lens is kind of big compared to Olympus's 17mm pancake lens but there's also a huge difference in price. I would understand if it's size is a problem for some folks who are likely to use this as a street or EDC lens. But, if the size doesn't bother you, it's definitely worth grabbing and adding to your arsenal if you have a little extra money for some new gear.
