This is wonderful for keeping crickets to feed to my turtles I just add top soil one half and cricket food on the other half. I love the tube's! If the semi clear caps are assembled it becomes very easy to see the crickets inside and works well to take the tube out and use for direct feeding. The caps also keep the tube's from falling all the way down. Very nice design of you understand how it is properly put together. I actually really like this cricket keeper. It’s bigger than I expected but that’s fine. I love that there are the hiding tubes for the crickets. That way I can just pull a tube out and shake a few into my mantis’s cage without worrying that some crickets will escape. Comes with separate little food and water containers for them. Works as intended, you have to be careful to make sure there is no gap left when you put the tunes in the sides. Not a long term habitat field crickets on its own, but can be part of a good system. Good value for the money, and has held its quality over time.

Product works good keeps my crickets where they’re supposed to be. The only problem is plastic on one corner broke on the first cleanup still closes still locks in place plastic could be a little bit stronger in the corners.

**Updating my review from 2⭐ to 3⭐, due to receiving a full refund for the product and a positive customer service experience with the seller.** I'm really disappointed in this product and the bad quality for the money that you pay for it. I think the idea behind it is amazing, as I CAN'T STAND touching the crickets to feed my toads and frogs. I do also love that it comes with two feeding stations for the crickets. The tubes are a great idea to make it easier to feed your pets without the fear of the crickets jumping on you, BUT, now I'm fearful of the crickets escaping the enclosure because of the huge gaps between the tubes and lids. I've attached photos to show just how much of a gap there is. It is definitely NOT a good idea to get this if you have very small crickets, as they will easily escape. The only reason I did not give this a 1⭐ is because I think the concept of this enclosure is great, but just very poorly executed. I'm now going to be using an ungodly amount of tape around the holes that the tubes go into to ensure that no crickets can escape the enclosure. This is true to size, per the measurements stated and I do feel that it should be pretty easy to clean, as the tubes do separate to clean inside them. The actual enclosure itself, as well as the tubes, are made of a hard plastic, whereas the lid feels very flimsy and cheap. Additionally, the flaps that cover the holes for the tubes are very flimsy and don't snap into place very well, if you are choosing to not use the tubes. Overall, not super thrilled about this product...I would almost rather risk the crickets jumping on me with my other cheaper enclosure over the thought of the crickets escaping from this one. ... show more

This makes feeding time a breeze.. the crickets like dark places, so they crawl into the 4 tubes. Simply remove a tube and shake the number of crickets you want out of the tube into the lizard habitat and replace the tube..I put calcium powder and ground turtle pellets in the food dish. as the crickets gobble up the turtle food the calcium powder sticks to them, creating additional nutrients for the reptiles.. I would have done 4.5 stars due to the thin cheap plastic on the doors, but this may never actually be an issue. great product! ... show more

I’m really disappointed. The overall build quality feels very cheap and flimsy. Parts feel like they could break easily with minimal use. The design is also poor. The spaces where the tubes are inserted are too wide, which allows crickets to escape easily. That completely defeats the purpose of the product. It’s way overpriced for what you get.
