  • Sun and rain blocker!
Material Type: Steel Roof Aluminum Frame with G... Size: 10x12
Looks amazing and fairly easy to put up by myself. Takes awhile to erect alone. I did get help when tightening up the roof screws. Only difficult part with assembling is the metal roof has edge pieces that don’t say on and when sliding them into the roof supports, these pieces keep falling out, very frustrating. I had to keep pulling out the metal roofing pieces to keep replacing the edge pieces. The screen and privacy curtain doesn’t slide very easy when closing as it gets hung up on the inside support braces. You need to be careful closing so it doesn’t tare. But it’s very sturdy and looks great! ... show more

  • Our third build, new house, new gazebo!
We recently moved to another state, leaving our previous gazebos behind. We bought this one, slightly larger than our last two, for the extra space. After we made this initial purchase through Amazon we received an email from the seller within 24 hours with the tracking numbers for all four shipments. Yes, four shipments, I can't see how they could package this in one shipment with the combined weight and bulk of the items. So, expect four shipments. We received our shipments, three in one day, and the roof panels the following day. All items were packed very well, no parts were damaged, warped, or bent. The instructions are pretty straightforward, this is my third build of this type of gazebo so I knew what I was getting myself into. (for the seller, QR codes that lead to YouTube videos of certain steps in the construction process would be very helpful) We installed it on a flat patio, got the four posts secured, and followed the remaining instructions for the roof panels. The roof panels are by far the most challenging task to complete, but once you get the hang of it, it gets a bit easier. We also ended up with spare screws and curtain parts (bag labeled "U"), which is nice. (I did check to make sure all connections were connected) I did most of the work putting this together, my wife helped with parts running and roof installation. They provided gloves for one person to handle the roof panels, that was a nice touch and a reminder that the sheet metal can cut and/or be too hot in the sun. It would have been easier with a third or fourth person to run parts, hold parts, or stabilize while constructing the gazebo, but we managed. We are happy with the screens and the shades, higher quality than our last two gazebos. We're also happy with how solid it is when put together. (Oh, and the feature to replace curtain hooks by removing the "K" part from the middle of horizontal support is; "Chef's kiss") We're already looking at another smaller gazebo for the grilling area. This gazebo was by far the easiest I've set up, 6 hours in total. A hand drill with adjustable torque set very low, then followed up by the supplied hand wrench for 'finger tight'. Seller communication is timely and informative. Instructions are pictograms, QR codes pointing to videos would help, but instructions are still followable. 2 people minimum, 3 ideal, and 4 would be super. Hope this helps others make a decision about this gazebo. We've been in it every night since it's been finished and we enjoy the extra room and staying away from the bugs. ... show more

  • Nice gazebo but
It is sturdy and we love it but the roof was difficult. Ours was damaged in transport, but my son and grandson figured it out. The curtain straps are not in the right place either.

  • Beautiful 12’x16’ Gazebo Beautiful 12’x16’ Gazebo
Exceeded expectations in appearance, design, durability and ease of assembly. My wife and I assembled in three days taking several breaks in the low 90° temperatures. We liked the appearance in the manufacturer’s photos and selected from those photos. Read several reviews and made decision based on both. We knew we would not have help to assemble posts to side and erect frame, but with those items being constructed from aluminum the weight was doable for us. First box of 6 arrived in two days and remaining 5 the following day. The first box contained the roof framework and side structure that connected to the corner posts. Box was burst open on both ends and was severely damaged. After opening and inspecting contents, we found no damage. The remaining 5 boxes arrived with the exception of one of the flatter boxes containing the roof panels with no damage. One of the flat boxes had a couple gouges on the flat side. When opened the roof panels had dents. After evaluating situation, we decided we could use those on side that was not in our view but side neighbor would view. After assembling dented panels on roof, it was hard to find damage. Another persons review said screens and curtains were cheap quality. We did not find that to be true. We didn’t plan on using screens and curtains, but installed anyway and will store during winter months. We are not bothered with insects just flies. After using screens and eliminating flies, we will definitely use during summer months. The zippers work well and slide easily to open and close. Our experience with zippered curtains and screens in the past has been they don’t operate well. The appearance of the finish is very pleasing and attention to detail of trim and exposed fits are above expectation. I did not have enough 6mm X 47mm long screws. I contacted seller requesting they send me 6 to complete assembling roof panels and as I suspected they gave me $15 credit to purchase at local hardware. I’m sure these are packed in China and seller does not have any hardware. Only problem is local hardware stores are limited in selection. I visited 2 hardware stores with no success. I found 6mm X 50 at Lowes that I cut excess off and painted head black to match. Also, I mentioned box damage and the two sheets of roof damage FYI, but didn’t ask for compensation as I informed I could use on back side out of view. They also gave me $15 credit for damaged roof. They responded next day, so customer service responded immediately and addressed my needs. I would definitely recommend this amazing Gazebo. It is very time consuming to assemble, but as other reviews have said, take your time and follow the illustrations and you want be disappointed with this Gazebo. The instructions have no written words, just drawings. ... show more

  • I almost didn't order because of reviews about instructions but it was easy to build
I almost didn't order because of negative reviews about how hard it was to build, instructions with just pictures, and damaged and missing parts. All not true for me! The packages came in two deliveries, it was packed very professionally with great packing material and all labeled. True the directions are not written but they are exactly like a lego set. Each step lists all of the parts you will need and a diagram of how to do it. The directions also tell you exactly which box has the parts you will need for that step and all the parts and boxes are labeled with the letters and numbers. My son is 22 and did legos his whole life. He was the one that got the parts together for each step and then we put them together. It did take us about 7 hours to complete with a lunch break but it wasn't that bad. You just have to really look at the directions and use logic. There were some great tips from some of the other reviewers that we used. You really need two people to keep it moving along. My wife came home when we had about two hours left and joined in which made the process even quicker handing us bolts and drill. Using drill instead of allen wrench really helped us fly along some steps. Roof was probably the hardest as everyone said but once we got a technique down on the first panel the rest were much easier. Wife was very pleased with the final product. We sat in it during sunset with the netting up and no bugs. You even get a net that velcros on the top gap part between the two roofs. Tomorrow we add two lights and a fan to the hanging hooks. We love it and it matches with the deck and house beautifully. Don't be scared, it's well worth the work. I think i cursed twice during this build. ... show more

  • Nice product and value. Nice product and value.
Put it together solo in about 8 hours. I had a few foul-ups due to not paying attention to the drawings. Specifically pay head to how the panels are installed on the long side center. Clean looking and very sturdy. A huge improvement over my old canvas top 10X10. I would recommend a second set of hands. A few words of caution. The panels will not stay in the slots unaided. Do not try tape to hold them for a few minutes while you grab the edge trim. Have the edge trim and screws ready to install when you slide in a panel. Overall a great, well made product. ... show more

  • Don't Buy!!! Save yourself the trouble & headache! 12x16 Hardtop Galvanized Steel Roof Gazebo. Don't Buy!!! Save yourself the trouble & headache! 12x16 Hardtop Galvanized Steel Roof Gazebo.
I rarely give negative reviews, and I couldn't give this gazebo enough negative stars. Attached photos are only a few of the damaged pieces. There was a lot of damaged pieces. Even the best pieces have some sort of damage. We were able to bend out the corners, but you still see the bent creases from inside the gazebo. They are up high, but we paid full price for a damaged gazebo and would have preferred a non-damaged gazebo. Every replacement box was damaged. Stopped at 4 replacement boxes and chose the best pieces. Holes do not line up when putting on the roof panels. Every piece you put on has some type of problem that you have to figure out how to get around it. The metal inserts fall off easily when trying to install the panels. We had to tape them on. Some of the rails were bent so the panels didn't fit properly. We spent so much time fixing damage to make this thing work. The gazebo's design is just awful! We have assembled other gazebo's and this one is by far the worst one! Buying this gazebo is a huge regret! The only positive is that it does seem heavy and does seem like it will withstand wind. Other positive is that the rain gutters work well. No leaks in the roof and we have had several rains since we put it up. The gazebo seems quality, but the entire process was not worth it. Seems like it will be a nice gazebo now that it is installed, but if I could do it all over again, I wouldn't buy this one. Too many problems erecting it. ... show more

Ok, I’m sure you did what I did and checked the reviews. Then you bought it and finally figured out what everyone was saying about the roofing panels so you go back to the reviews for help. But the best they got it “once you get the hang of it, it’s fine.” Ok, this is just about the roofing panels. I managed to put up the whole frame and the top section of roofing panels myself. I got the 10x13 and it took me 5 hours to do everything but the panels myself. Then my cousin helped me with the panels and it took us 2.5 hours. They are awful, even with this review, they are horrible. First, go buy some sort of super glue, gorilla glue, or that UV glue the other guy talked about. Each section is in two pieces. A small and a large. The directions tell you to do one at a time, but it’s NOT POSSIBLE! Don’t do it. You need to secure the panels together before you try to slide them in. These panels overlap one FULL ripple and the two tiny partial ripples. Use the double sided tape or glue. I tried double sided tape but it was mid-July so it basically melted and they didn’t stay together. Finally we did gorilla glue. Once you secure the two pieces together, start with your angled panels, not the ones with two straight sides. Those are easy! Guide the panels up one side. I recommend the angled side, then try and “vibrate” it into the straight side. We have one person in the middle of the frame, pulling the panel upwards, and someone on the bottom pushing it up. SEVERAL times we thought it was all the way in, it looked good but the edge was hanging off slightly. Enough that we couldn’t put the edge piece on. This is where the vibration comes into play. What I mean by vibration is lightly bang on it. LIGHTLY!!! And yes, you both can do this. If you have 3 people, two can hold while one is in charge of slotting it. This vibration is key! Just be patient and remember the people who made this are the enemy, not the person helping you. I hope this helps you. ... show more
