We bought the 12’ x 14’ composite gray aluminum version and have been extremely happy with it so far. Assembly is definitely a two-person job, but it’s very doable in one day as long as you have a helper and an impact driver (or drill with the right attachments). With that, the install is pretty straightforward. We were able to rig a ceiling fan using the threaded nuts in the top frame piece, and even jerry-rigged a custom homemade TV mount, which has really elevated the space. The roof is fully waterproof—no leaks or rust so far after about six months of use. As long as it’s not raining too hard with heavy wind, you stay completely dry underneath. The structure is very sturdy, especially after mounting it into concrete. It arrived in four boxes, and all the pieces were in great shape. One tip: lay everything out on foam or cardboard during assembly (especially if you’re on concrete) to avoid scratching the finish. Overall, very solid build quality and we’re really enjoying the space. Check out the pics. No issues with putting a gas fire pit underneath.

I love our gazebo! Love the sides that you can zip up and either have the netting or the solid curtain closed. Was very easy to put together.

The overall quality is good, as is the value if you can find it on sale. The support posts and framing are sturdy and good looking. We've had a couple of days with wind gusts of 40+ mph and it didn't budge or sway (anchored onto buried cinder blocks). Assembly was mostly straightforward, except for some tedious moments getting the panels slotted into the framework. We were able to put it together with two people, but an extra person or two would have been nice at times. WARNING: if you live in an area that gets a lot of snow, this may not be the gazebo for you. There are long, rectangular panels in the middle of each side that only have framing on three side and no other support structure. Because of this, they bow inward when snow accumulates on them, to the point that they become dislodged from the slots holding them in place. This happened with not very much snow - three snowfalls of only 7, 5, and 3 inches over the course of 10 days and it didn't last long before it melted. We ended up having to remove these particular panels and flip them 180 degress, before fastening metal strips for horizontal support underneath (using JD Kwikset epoxy). Going forward, we will remove snow as best we can to further ensure this doesn't happen again. So...overall I recommend this gazebo with the exception of the rigidity of the roof panels and the lack of sufficient support structure for them.

I regret every penny I spent on the YOLENY 12' x 14' Hardtop Gazebo. This product is an absolute nightmare from start to finish. First off, the assembly instructions are a joke. They are poorly written, incomplete, and downright confusing. It’s as if they want you to fail at putting this thing together. It took me and two other people an entire weekend to assemble it, and even then, the parts didn’t align properly. Some holes were misdrilled, and we had to force things to fit, which left the structure wobbly and unstable. The materials are not what they claim to be. The so-called "hardtop" roof feels flimsy and cheap, and I doubt it will hold up under even moderate weather conditions. The aluminum frame scratches easily, and the whole thing feels more like a temporary tent than a "permanent" structure. The curtains and netting included are laughable. They are paper-thin, tear easily, and don’t seem designed to actually withstand outdoor use. The zippers broke within a week, and the hooks are constantly falling off the track. Speaking of weather, this gazebo is not suitable for any outdoor conditions. The roof started leaking after the first rain, and a mild breeze had it shaking like it was about to collapse. I’m genuinely scared this thing will blow away or fall apart the next time it storms. Customer service? Forget it. They were unhelpful, dismissive, and made every excuse in the book to avoid resolving the issues. Trying to get replacement parts or a refund is like pulling teeth. Save yourself the headache and avoid this disaster of a product. It’s overpriced garbage that doesn’t live up to any of its promises. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

The media could not be loaded. We bolted into the cement and it has held up for 3 years now even through some atmospheric weathers in California! Definitely is a 2 person job to put it together and it is worth the buy.

!Great product! We bought the 12 by 14 foot one and mounted it on our deck. It was put it up in about three days of spare time and LOVE it. Should have bought one years ago. It is so peaceful sitting out in our swing without having the sun beat you down. Love the netting but we will have to find some chain to put in the netting bottom seam to help hold it down. Only hope and pray that it stands up to the occasional wind. Very well made and the corner braces seem to make it as sturdy as it can possibly be.+ * 2 year follow-up: Still doing GREAT. WE still give it a solid 5 stars. I can't see any bowing of the composition roof panels even after a very wet snow of 5 inches the first winter. It has weathered many high wind storms as well (with some of the gusts over 50 MPH). For versatility we mounted an outdoor light/fan combination on a board that mounted on the N1 piece. This allowed me to clamp my wiring conduit down without having to drill into a structural member. As you can see in the photos I just zip tied the conduit to a corner member. WE mounted the gazebo on our 12'x24' deck that was extremely sunny and without mosquito protection. We had to notch the deck railing in order to mount it. Now my wife can finally sit out without getting eaten up. We SURE wish we hadn't put this purchase off and just gone ahead and had bought ours 10 years ago! Absolutely love it! Now we are looking to replace the mosquito net as they don't last forever (especially with a scared cat blowing through it). Solid product!
