My family loves this gazebo. Now that it is up it is a pleasant place to relax in the yard. I'll make this review more of a "things to look for" to make it easy for you to assemble It took me a day and a half to build it, with help from two neighbors when I was erecting the basic frame and legs. Most of the time was dealing with the "z" clips for the roofing panels. Those z clips killed me. They kept falling off as I was sliding the panels into place. Once you got the rhythm though, it moved quicker. The roof is 70% of the work in my opinion. Use a folding table to keep your screws where you can grab them. That and any small pieces, like z clips 🫤 Also remove the stickers from the pieces as you go. That way you are not sitting under your beautiful gazebo that you worked hard on, looking up at little white stickers her and there. Pay attention to your screen and curtain alignment. Curtain Velcro faces in. Screen Velcro faces out. Also if your unit is a rectangle like mine, watch your hook counts with what your screen/curtain has. If you start to hook it wrong you will have to undo all the hooks and move it to the next post, and it is harder to take them off than to put them on. The gutter system is not as nice as it may seem. It clogs right away and if it is a decent amount of rain it just pours over the edge anyway. That said it is a very nice unit. And we are happy with it! ... show more

We really enjoy this gazebo! The price was pretty fair as we did a lot of comparing before our purchase. It fits our deck perfectly. It does come with directions that must be followed closely. It took 4 adults over 8 hours to assemble. The most difficult part was the roof. We did screw it to our deck and it seems very stable and sturdy. No leaks with rain, waiting to see how it holds up with snowfall. We were glad for the center hook as we have hung a fan in the summer and now a heater. The curtains zip up easily and help with wind and bugs. We are definitely happy with our gazebo so far. ... show more

Ok, I’m sure you did what I did and checked the reviews. Then you bought it and finally figured out what everyone was saying about the roofing panels so you go back to the reviews for help. But the best they got it “once you get the hang of it, it’s fine.” Ok, this is just about the roofing panels. I managed to put up the whole frame and the top section of roofing panels myself. I got the 10x13 and it took me 5 hours to do everything but the panels myself. Then my cousin helped me with the panels and it took us 2.5 hours. They are awful, even with this review, they are horrible. First, go buy some sort of super glue, gorilla glue, or that UV glue the other guy talked about. Each section is in two pieces. A small and a large. The directions tell you to do one at a time, but it’s NOT POSSIBLE! Don’t do it. You need to secure the panels together before you try to slide them in. These panels overlap one FULL ripple and the two tiny partial ripples. Use the double sided tape or glue. I tried double sided tape but it was mid-July so it basically melted and they didn’t stay together. Finally we did gorilla glue. Once you secure the two pieces together, start with your angled panels, not the ones with two straight sides. Those are easy! Guide the panels up one side. I recommend the angled side, then try and “vibrate” it into the straight side. We have one person in the middle of the frame, pulling the panel upwards, and someone on the bottom pushing it up. SEVERAL times we thought it was all the way in, it looked good but the edge was hanging off slightly. Enough that we couldn’t put the edge piece on. This is where the vibration comes into play. What I mean by vibration is lightly bang on it. LIGHTLY!!! And yes, you both can do this. If you have 3 people, two can hold while one is in charge of slotting it. This vibration is key! Just be patient and remember the people who made this are the enemy, not the person helping you. I hope this helps you. ... show more

absolutely love the unit. Looks great. Not to difficult to put together - it took two of us about 15 hours total. Hardest part was installing the roof slats. After numerous tries we ended getting aluminum squares and inserting them into the slot before putting the slat in. This helped to guide them in place. Everything else went pretty smooth. Negatives to be aware of: We checked the boxes for to make sure all parts were shipped and received as mentioned by other reviewers. So glad we did. We were missing one roof support beam and had to ask the seller for it. Asking the seller was a trip…. We provided pictures the number of the item and several messages went back and forth because they had no idea what it was. Couldn’t understand why they would not grab the manual to see the exact piece. Once that was figured out they kept claiming it would ship but never did. I finally had to request a return for missing parts - while refusing to pay shipping back due to the defect. Only then did I get a tracking number - a fake tracking number. I had to inquire again about a shipping label before they gave me a real tracking number that actually showed the part shipped. It was definitely harder than it should have been to get the part but glad they finally followed through. ... show more
