I took the chains and links out of the package today. I planned to use one of each to replace the frayed rope on my son's disc swing. The quick links looked suspiciously light-duty, but I hooked up the swing with the chain and link and hopped on for a test ride. The quick link immediately bent and dropped me on my butt. I'm not huge (170lb) and had no momentum. Imagine your kid at the top of their swing arc when this happens... The chain held up fine when I swapped the bent quick link for a heavier spring clip, but they are a slightly smaller gauge than I'd like for the purpose. After about 30 seconds it became uncomfortable to grip the chain. They might feel alright in smaller hands. I will never know, because I scrapped the plan. I just don't trust the product. I recommend looking at other chain options, but definitely buy heavier quick links or clips if you end up with this set.
