In fairness, the measurements for this piece are listed right on one of the photos. That said, this item is a particularly egregious example of one of my personal pet peeves: photoshop with no regard whatsoever for scale - but somehow it always makes the product look bigger, not smaller. Humans (the ones I know at least) are far more likely to internalize a visual image that tells us relative size than the digits of the actual measurements. If you look at the photos, these fixtures should be WELL wider than a good-sized barstool top, so big they wouldn't fit in an average-sized kitchen sink (approaching the size of the dishwasher, really), as wide as the staircase itself, and MUCH bigger than throw pillows (which are usually 16-18" square). The reality is that this thing is about the size of a basketball - which, again, in all fairness, the dimensions are listed in one of the photos. It's just that all of the other photos make it seem much larger than it is. (Side note: the almost 18" height includes the little bauble that hangs from the bottom, which I'm assuming is fairly standard practice, but the actual light itself is more like 14" tall.) So it's tiny. But is it also a nightmare to install? Pretty much yes. It comes in a million pieces (which at least they tell you about up front), and the crystals are all plastic so they break VERY easily (ask me how I know). The arms aren't particularly stable once you get them installed - they'll still rotate. They won't go in a complete circle because they're in each other's way, but the last thing you have to do before climbing off the ladder is make sure they're all pointing straight up so you don't get a big obvious gap in your light fixture. I think this is overpriced for what you get - not ridiculously so, but enough that I'll trot out my usual reminder to shop around. Considering the photo issue, I'll also add go get out the measuring tape and try to find a similarly-sized object in your house to give you a CORRECT visual image of what to expect. All that said, it is pretty once you get it together, installed, repaired as necessary, and straightened. It just needs more accurate product representation and either a lower price or significant quality upgrade. ... show more

Beautiful chandelier. Easy to assemble, install and hang. Comes with everything you need to install. Lighbulbs not included. This chandelier adds a bit of moody elegance to wherever it is placed. Its a bit smaller that I would have liked but I still love it. Only negative is that the light bulbs are completely exposed so it can be a bit hard to look at if you have sensitive eyes, you you really want to look at it. The package comes with 2 extra crystals should you need to replace one. Seems like the quality is there and should last awhile. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The vintage chandelier came as described on the product page. -multiple metal limbs with crystals -3 bulb socket The wiring is already appropriately connected to this -long chain up to 59" -short chain -crystal ball and cap for the bottom of the chandelier -anchors and hardware -ball of white putty type stuff -instructions Apparently we are not ready to install the chandelier yet. I have not removed the metal and crystal limbs from their wrapping. We have two hyper kids that live here. Hyper kids vs glass. I'm thinking the kids would win however broken glass is dangerous all the way around. Other than the limbs I've tried to show you all of the other pieces. This has very good photo instructions for getting the light up and working. The installation doesn't look too hard. I know famous last words lol. The chandelier is going to be beautiful. I am putting it up as soon as I can. I am contemplating buying a second one. I love the look of it and I'm appreciative to have it. I recommend it so far. ... show more
