[Not being paid for this, nor any consideration... Just happy with the product!] I wanted to replace a basement hall ceiling light fixture (old bulb corroded, sealed to socket). Found this one... Then after installation, bought 3 more! It's bright, not glaring, instant on (unlike some led bulbs). Dimmable (I don't need it, but...), and incredibly easy to install. The fixture is simple and attractive, just disappearing into the ceiling until you want it on. Maybe because of the translucent dome, it seems brighter than the rated 75W (draws 15W). And I'm lazy... I don't like maintaining stuff. At 3 hrs/day... I'll have to replace these in 45 yrs (I'm 78... Fat chance! 😉) ... show more

Very affordable, easy to install LED upgrade, for kitchen ceiling,only caveat is that its only 75 watt equiv., so I wouldn't rely on this as the only kitchen lighting source, except in a small room..

It is low in profile and provides a lot of light, which is exactly what we were looking for. We do not find it obtrusively bright as some seem to think. Installed, you can't really tell it is lightweight plastic. A great value for what you get! We reason that if the plastic globe begins to yellow over time, we can replace it and still feel good about having what we wanted at a very cheap price. ... show more
