Just now installed it; took about an hour. Looks great. It is pretty heavy, I had to enlist a helper to lift it & position it. Tailgate doesn’t open as smoothly because of a slight natural bow on the back frame piece, but I think that also helps it seal to the tailgate better. Time will tell, but happy so far.

I like how easy it was to install. It fits my 2025 Silverado Custom Trail Boss Z71 great. The quality seems pretty good. My only problem was that it came damaged, most likely during shipping. There was a piece chipped off that is hardly noticeable from a distance so I’m not going to exchange it but just a disappointment.

The media could not be loaded. So I purchased the wrong sz initially, returned and got the 5’8” . You have to be careful. Make sure it shows the correct size. I got it to give to my son for Christmas on his 2024 gmc Sierra 1500. He said the directions weren’t any good but was able to put it on very easily. It looks very sharp!! He is very happy!

This item showed up with cracked plastic parts and broken plastic hinges. The three sections would not fold out as per description. May have been damaged or improperly packed by manufacturer. The whole episode which included ordering , receiving, unpacking, inspecting, examining broken plastic parts, repacking, dropping off at UPS and now waiting for a full refund has been nothing short of a colossal waste of time. Please see attached pictures of cracked / broken parts.
